  2. nice..........good to see them finish out with a couple 'w's. on to the tourney. think NR said bracket should be out some time after the NW-Minny game that starts around 3:30pm.
  3. no idea how much interest huskers or reese may have...just know she was being followed by chuck love.
  4. unfortunately, Huskers have really struggled past 2-3 weeks. playing a little better competition. got shut out against Indiana on Friday.....hopefully they can get these final two games.
  5. that ol' saying..."rich keep getting richer"
  6. huh......just a note: was in hs with Jeff Schemmel. his brother was on Sioux City Flight 92 and survived.
  7. related a bit to Red Don's post above on the history of girls bb. some of you may have figured out i am from South Dakota. i have no idea if any of the forum members have any ties to SD. SD Public Broadcasting has a documentary on the history of SD girls bb. it is very interesting. i'll provide the link in case anyone enjoys a little history (albeit, from SD). it is 56 minutes long. i'm guessing coach williams has seen this! https://watch.sdpb.org/video/south-dakota-specials-play-like-a-girl/
  8. https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/33842480/women-college-basketball-way-too-early-top-25-2022-23 an update to the top 25... huskers drop to #24 i would have put ohio state to finish above indiana, however, i like indiana picking up the transfers scalia from minny and parish from oregon. i still don't think it will be enough to catch iowa, though. i see iowa finishing #1 with indiana #2. osu, maryland, and michigan fight for the next 3 spots.
  9. i was wondering what happened to Nye, missed it....i thought this would have been a HUGE get. Alabama Women’s Basketball Signs Illinois Transfer Aaliyah Nye
  10. May 1st deadline almost here. fall/winter student athletes must inform the NCAA of their intentions by said date. so, it is possible announcements may be made on the 2nd or 3rd.
  11. well, if Krull can live up to the rating, Huskers got a really, really good one. i say that because i watched a number of ISU games and Ryan is good. really good. The Donarski and Ryan duo have developed into one of the best backcourts in the country.

  13. i think the B1G moves on from her. if she finds a home, probably where the issue wasn't much of a story, if at all. just want to add, many of us don't know the real story. just a lot of speculation---still.
  14. i can see minny being awful young next season. possibly 4 freshman getting majority of minutes. not to mention a couple of sophomores. probably a decent move by whalen to get someone like Cayton with all her experience. i stated in a different post that many minny fans have already christened Mara Braun as FOY. who knows, but, i loved her game in hs. she is going to be a good one---possibly great (for minny) before she is done.
  15. wolverines announce assistant... https://mgoblue.com/news/2022/4/29/womens-basketball-batth-named-assistant-coach-recruiting-coordinator.aspx "Batth spent the last four seasons at NC State, helping the Wolfpack to three straight ACC Tournament titles for the first time in program history. In her four seasons, NC State compiled a 110-17 record, finished in the top 10 each season and reached three Sweet 16s, along with the 2022 Elite Eight. She worked with the post players, highlighted by working alongside ACC Tournament MVP and All-American center Elissa Cunane. The 2021-22 squad won a program-record 32 games and finished the year ranked No. 3 in the final Associated Press poll."
  16. here we have outstanding foreign student athletes (all around the country mind you) and the lawyers are concerned about NIL and the "laws"? then on the other hand, we have over a million illegal immigrants breaking our laws and crossing the border!
