I think teams are allowed 15 scholarships in WBB. Men are limited to 13. Title 9 thing?
i was kinda thinking krull would most likely be done and stewart would move on.
thought women had 15 schollies available.

could someone be kind enough to explain what the scholarship situation is currently. i know the huskers have 3 signed for 2024. would they have 3 that are available presently?

I was not able to listen to or watch the Oregon State game but thought I had it taped. But with ESPN switching networks all I got was a dog show. I have looked everywhere I can think of for a replay but can't find one. So reading the articles from the sports writers and reading all the blogs here I got a pretty good idea of what happened. We played pretty good defense but didn't get or take good shots on offense. Could one of you explain a bit why Alexis and Natalie were 5 out of 25. Off night? Poor shot selection? etc. Thanks.
Oregon State's height was an issue. add some block shots and i think that messed with the husker minds. got a little intimidated around the basket.
defense just kept the husker offense out of rhythm most of the game.
just a quick synopsis.

was talking to a close friend of mine.........he stated if Dawn Plitzeweit had stayed at USD, Ashlyn Koupal from South Dakota would have been a lock. she has stated that is where she really wants to go......however, things are a bit shaky there. it still sounds like Koupal may be USD's to lose.
never know, but, he didn't think she would go with Plitzeweit at Minnesota.
i'd love to see her in the "other" red. imo, would be a great get for Williams.

apologize if this has been posted previously...i didn't come across the article in posts i read.
was not aware Nissley has had foot issues since a junior in high school.
she will have surgery again...

i agree. williams needs to find that 6'3"-6'5" athletic player if you want to take it to another level. one that can play on both ends of the court. it's difficult because most of them head for the blue blood programs.
not so sure maggie was the answer.

i have to give her a lot of props for stepping to the mic after being fired. most coaches would have said "screw it" and left the area.

Didn't fit the culture?
i have noticed this quite often with top recruits though. is iowa's culture of trying to win championships much different than what should be at nebraska? idk

the one thing that puzzles me........ there was a bunch, a bunch of schools listed that she had offers from....why wasn't nebraska listed??? why not shoot for the stars?

charlie creme stated he still thinks gonzaga will be in top 16 even with a loss in the championship game.
i've watched a handful of gonzaga games this season. i think they may be one of the best mid-major squads ever put together........jmo.

On other sites, Ronnie Green and Ted Carter leaving, plus a dysfunctional BOR have been mentioned as possible contributions to Trev entertaining an offer.
imo, this has a lot to do with it. that and the possible new president.

My wife said the announcers mainly talked Maryland, no Nebraska. That's why I don't listen to announcers ever.
PLEASE Big Ten...................get rid of Kristen Scott Williams (or however her name is). i just about vomit when she does a big ten game. i can deal with the others, but, she drives me crazy. btw, always have matt and jeff on when i can watch a game live.

i tried to verify this but didn't come across anything yet....Jake Sorenson stated 6 players from LSU/SoCar will miss the first game of the NCAA tournament.
-
if interested...early break with Jake Sorenson and Bill Busch (Sipple out ill) had a segment on the Iowa-Husker game. Bill's final comments were interesting.
not a computer whiz, so, maybe someone else might be able to post it?
anyway, the first segment is about the men's game, then they talk women's after the first break.

think iowa's focus just went up a notch?
wait and see with the injuries to indiana's Holmes and Meister.

koupal's are connected to university of south dakota.
although i follow the jacks, a commit to the yotes would be a huge get.
her decision will be closely watched in SD.

Carly Thibealt-DuDonis
i think the Fairfield Stags are 25-1 and may have cracked the top 25. granted, not the most difficult schedule, but, did clobber Rutgers at Rutgers.
could be a coach to watch in the near future.
i can't remember if she left minnesota before whalen's last season or as whalen was leaving.
