You all realize that Jon Nyatawa is a Purdue graduate don't you? He has no bias towards Cregihton or the Big East. He just covers the Jays. You all sound like a bunch of insecure cry babies.

JN having St. Johns at #20 is interesting. Must be some BE bias. Sure they're undefeated but I would say Clemson, TT, Seton Hall, Creighton and Minnesota are tougher than anyone St. Johns has played this season. One true away game (at Rutgers) and a 1 point home win over VCU - for a team to be ranked #20 you have to hang your hat on more than that...

Boston College breaks their 20-loss conference drought with a dominating 96-81 victory over Syracuse. AWIII is the end of the Syracuse basketball.

Just a follow up to Noah's thread. He forgot to mention Andrew White. Sort of an odd omission when analyzing "what could have been"?
We we basically have replaced Andrew White's production with Anton Gill.
I I know it's early, but the summer hype on this board promoting a potential upgrade, ain't lookin so good.
White looks really good 18pts per game. Gill 1.5pts per game.
I understand that we're young, but we're seemingly always a year away. I am concerned with the declining product we're seeing, and the declining fan atmosphere bothers me also. We have an opportunity to turn it all around with a nice pre conf slate, including a huge opportunity to beat Creighton at home.
At some point (sooner rather than later) we gotta step up this program.

Wow, this late in the summer! This is BS! Makes me somewhat hope he goes to a more high profile team and gets stuck behind someone better and hardly plays. I frankly lost all respect for him.
