  1. Robin Washut‏Verified account @RobinWashut 1h1 hour ago FWIW, ESPN’s @jeffborzello thinks both James Palmer and Isaac Copeland should come back to #Nebrasketball this season.
  2. Robin Washut‏Verified account @RobinWashut 21m21 minutes ago Robin Washut Retweeted Jalen Suggs The No. 6 basketball recruit in the 2020 class just received an offer to play quarterback at Ohio State. Share some talent with the rest of us, @JalenSuggs2020
  3. Sounds great, although #3 is a bit of a red flag.
  4. I was thinking more so for the following years but I hope Harris can spell Watson at times this year. It would be nice to give Watson a breather now and then and I can see Harris and Allen both playing a little point when Watson is out. We should be pretty flexible with Palmer and even Roby being able to bring the ball up at times.
  5. I think Allen will really benefit from Harris having good size. Miles will not have to worry as much about playing two short guards at the same time causing match up problems.
  6. Jeff Borzello South Dakota graduate transfer Matt Mooney has committed to Texas Tech, sources told ESPN. Tough day for Creighton. Thomas goes pro and they lose out on Mooney.
  7. (A Junior College in the middle of Utah) So happy to announce the signing of Roman Behrens! @r_behrensss is an incredibly gifted young man and he is going to do outstanding things as a Badger!
  8. I would guess SDSU. Besides, he looks 3 inches taller in that uniform! Could help his career.
  9. Thanks to all the schools throughout the country that recruited me after I decided to transfer from Pitt. I will be staying HOME to play for my dad at UTM ??☝?
  10. Good point. Probably did not need to shoot a lot when you can get to the rim. If he is that good of a slasher, he just has to be able to hit a set open 3 to keep teams honest.
  11. Or does Miles save it for a mid semester transfer or does Gates have connections to someone? I like the idea of a big to give us post defense and rebounding but if we go with Roby at the 5, Jordy will still get his minutes so I'm not sure how much a new big guy would play.
  12. I see Creighton is that other school. Unofficial visit.
  13. Robin Washut 2018 point guard Amir Harris (@Harris5Amir) liked everything about his recent #Nebrasketball official visit. Now he’s only a few days away from making his college decision... (Story on rivals.com)
  14. I remember being really disappointed when we did not get him.
  15. Washut Tweet: New assistant coach @coachagates says #Nebrasketball’s ties with @BrewsterHoops will remain stronger than ever: “Coach Smitty, he’s going to continue to feed us. Brewster, we’re going strong over here in Huskerland right now, but we’re looking to add a couple more pieces too."
  16. Gates said he called Northwestern coach Chris Collins to get his blessing to move to another Big Ten school. "He signed off on it," Gates said, noting Collins thinks very highly of Nebraska. #Huskers
  17. Tim Miles said James Palmer Jr. has worked out with the Celtics, OKC, Clippers and will hold some other workouts soon. Isaac Copeland has worked out with the Celtics and Bucks as well as getting interest from the Cavs and Rockets.
  18. Washut tweet: Miles said it’s always 50/50 if Palmer and Copeland come back, but said right now it’s probably more likely they are back at NU next season. Still a lot to play out though.
  19. Armon Gates official announcement on Tim Miles’ staff at Nebraska expected today. Gates had a brief stint at Florida.
  20. I assume this will be about a new coach. Hopefully not about someone leaving the program.
  21. Rosenthal Tweet: Tim Miles will be addressing the media today at 1:30 p.m. I'll be tweeting updates. #Huskers #Nebrasketball
  22. I thought Doc planned on making it part of a strategy to compete against the power teams of college basketball thinking that older 5th year Seniors could play against more talented Freshmen but like you said it never really took off. Didn't Brandon Richardson redshirt?
  23. I'm beginning to wonder if red-shirting will be a thing of the past. If I'm a coach, I'm not sure if I would redshirt an athlete as it just seems to open up a chance of that player transferring after he graduates. Kids don't like it and it can work against them as well like with Logan Strom. He took a redshirt his freshman year, and now transferred to UNO which means he has to sit out another year and lost a year of eligibility. I'm guessing Miles will want Heiman to redshirt so we will see how that plays out.
  24. Omaha World Herald had an article on it today and said it was basically a done deal. They just had to iron out a couple things. (can't remember how they worded it)
