My thanks as well. The few times I got to talk to him he was always upbeat and friendly. If Andrew White does not transfer, the Big 10 was not down (was not as bad as people thought) the year we won 22 games and if what ever the heck happened this year did not happen things would be very different. I'm sure Tim will land on his feet. When he was hired I remembered thinking he is just zany enough to think he can win a Nebraska and he just might.

Played in a couple of benefit/fund raising games against the graduating football players. I remember Corey Dixon blowing by me like I was standing still (which I probably was) It was a good thing he didn't always take the ball with him when doing it! Best player I played against was Tom Kropp (Kearney State, NBA) The guy could pull of from deep and bank it in (just for fun I think) When you watch games on TV you think "I could play with them" but until you actually are on the floor and see how fast and athletic these guys are, you can't really understand it.

True, but it makes you wonder if Hoiberg is a lock for the job. Surely the players are following what is going on closer than us and Allen has to know that everyone is saying Hoiberg will be the next coach so why would he put his name in to transfer if this is the case. (Unless he does not want to play for him)

The OWH had an article on the recruits and interviewed Green and others. All said they would give the new coach a chance but none said they were fully committed or that they were going to open up recruitment either.

I guess the old Big 12 rivalries are still strong with some people. Since the move to the Big 10 I don't really have the same ill feelings toward those teams like I did when we were in that conference.

I can't remember for sure but I believe Thurman was a questionable qualifier out of high school which might have sacred teams away. It has been a problem with some of the recent Central grads.

Andy Markowski @markowski_andy I would not rule out Greg Marshall of Wichita State or Tad Boyle at Colorado as potential replacements. Both are still playing in NIT and could be reason why Moos said it could be 10-14 days.
