... in the old Coliseum. Joe Cipriano was the coach. Jerry Fort lost a contact lens and they stopped play for probably 5 minutes while people spread out on the floor looking for it. Never forget it.

Guys, I feel like I've paid some dues and earned this.

Amen, brother. We deserve this. Nebrasketball needs to perform on the court, and the fans nationwide will be there every second of the action. It can be a glorious Friday night in Memphis at FedEx Forum, home of the Grizzlies. Let's all have an awesome week of anticipation, enjoy the moment, life's fleeting, breathe every breath. Savor it all. GBR Always.

I want to thank my dad who bought 4 season tickets in 1988. He said “I think this Danny Nee could get us pretty good”. Enjoyed a fun run in the 90’s. Saw some great finishes against KU and other teams. Endured the end of Nee’s tenure, was hopeful for BC and his “disciplined” style of coaching. Was a proud member of the “6500” as one writer from the OWH coined us. Marveled at the talent of seeing Michael Beasley and Kevin Durant in person. Was entertained by Doc’s personality and him rolling out a bunch of under 6’ guards. Still can hear him call Sek “Sack” And I remember his emotional last press conference like it was yesterday. Introduced my son to PBA and Florida gulf coast’s dunk city - as we continued our season tickets w Tim Miles and Tommy Lee and the UNL drum line - and got hot w the Petteway 26 footers in east Lansing. No Sit Sunday is still my favorite sports moment I’ve ever had with my family. I remember not loving the Baylor matchup and marveled how tall they were. Took my son to every single Nebraska Basketball Buddies with my kids. I was a Miles fan. But was excited and hopeful when we hired Fred.
And now, 10 years after Coach Miles got tossed from the game and watched it from the Creighton locker room, here we are. I will cry if we beat Texas A and M. I’m almost 50 and will cry and won’t care who sees me. Go Big Red!!!!!

Not to pinpoint one point of your much longer purpose, but I vividly recall we had zero support from BTN analysts. Never fought for us and, in fact, told all the reasons we shouldn't be in. I won't forget that.

I actually appreciate his demeanor on the bench. He's always cheering on teammates. It could've very well been a situation where the old guy who has been a starter his whole career gets disgruntled and causes locker room issues after losing playing time. But doesn't seem to be the case here. Props to Boogie.

Anyone still wondering why it is so much easier for the Huskers to win at home than on the road just needed to be in PBA tonight.   Place was electric and when we made that second half run the crowd just took over the game - shaking up a normally very disciplined Wisconsin team and giving the Huskers tons of energy.

It’s just so incredibly stupid, for a metric that is supposed to account for everything and show the overall strengths and weaknesses of teams, to discount real data. Why measure margin of victory if sometimes you just throw it out?

If anything, showing the resolve to not crumple and continue after 40 minutes of play speaks to a team’s depth and mental strength.  You could argue overtime results should swing the needle more.

After Allick gave his Post Game interview in Iowa City he must have looked himself in the Mirror & said “I’M going to Lead by Example” & that’s exactly what he did. Love ❤️ It…!!!

Has he been reading our board? That's MY verbiage. I've been talking about "running our shit." All season.

Going by the box score, Matar, Eli and Jarron all had more minutes than Keisei, Josiah, Jamarques, Juwan, Sam, CJ and Rienk (who had zero because he's out.)

Brice was the only starter with at least 20 minutes. And he had exactly 20.

And we were up 68-24 with 13 minutes to play when Cale Jacobsen entered the game.

The last roughly ten minutes, we finished the game with two true freshmen, two walk-ons, and a senior point guard who hadn't seen any action since playing 4 minutes against Minnesota on December 6 and who turned the ball over 4 times in the final 8 minutes.

So, depth? I mean, we played the last 10 minutes with 5 guys who have basically been relegated to mop-up duty. Leaving us 9 other guys in the regular rotation. That doesn't seem to me like a depth issue.

Pretty sure that Sadler got him placed at Ranger with Billy Clyde but that part of the story isn't in there because Doc isn't around any more.

But if you make a Venn diagram of "Sunday" and "someday" the Sunday circle would fit entirely within the someday circle, so we have that going for us...which is nice.

Seems like everyone is either going to throw in the towel or start celebrating early after these next 4 games. These games might tell us a lot about how this season will go. They also might not. We could go 3-1 and not make the tourney in March. We could go 1-3 and still make the tourney. After 12 games last year Creighton was 6-6 and reeling. Fast forward a few months and they ended up 1 second shy of the final four. In 2014 we were garbage until late January, but ended up dancing in March. This year will be a fun ride regardless of the next 2 weeks.

How so? There are whole threads on "old friends" who transferred and Huskers in the pros who are no longer current players. A lot of people really liked Tim Miles when he was here, thought he gave us his best, and wish him well.

My favorite part of Wednesday was that FH was locked in and pissed about stuff. He lit into the guys once, sat KT for quite a while, and knew he had to be on refs all game. All that and he kept the team together.

    10/10 coach.

I die laughing every time I think about Matt A insisting that we make a hype video for the 21-22 season with him in it
This is the worst team Nebraska has to date assembled defensively in the KenPom era
