Huskerone got a reaction from Red Don in uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 11; ed 27 - @ Penn St.
While I have my misgivings regarding Miles, Palmer, and Watson, there will be a Senior night, and I just hope all the criticism can be forgotten/forgave for an evening. Maybe we can even see Glynn smile, dude never looks like he's having much fun. After that game and the subsequent end of the season Miles and the Seniors will move on. They all did what they thought was right and gave it their all. Hopefully they, at least, can have a memorable Senior night.

People react to tough questions in unique ways. Many people go through their entire life, not having to give a deposition, or partake in a television or print interview. Heck, job interviews are harrowing enough. Coach Miles seems to always use humor or sarcasm when faced with unique questions. That is sort of what has made him a well liked interview, and what seemed to turn on many Nebraskans. So to learn that during a podcast he answered a question in a sarcastic or humorous manner should be of no surprise. Was it tasteful, perhaps not. But again, why beat up on the man.

Huskerone got a reaction from OmahaHusker in Coaches that you think should be on Nebraska's list, if this trend continues
Still nervous about Moos hiring a basketball coach. He was brought here to fix football. Plus the fact that Nebrasketball has not been kind to coaching careers, probably does not endear us to a lot of coaches. With that in mind, I'm thinking it will be another guy I'll have to google when he's announced. I'm not saying that guy can't be successful. Just not sure it'll be the big splash name (Lue, Hoiberg, Matta, Altman, etc.). Good luck Mr. Moos, I'll have my fingers crossed. Winters around here aren't quite as cold when Nebraska basketball rolling.

Don't tell anyone, but he's not a very good shooter.
ON EDIT: He's a great shooter. He's not a very good maker.

Not trying to pile on, but did anyone actually think that the last two games changed anything about how this team was playing?

Guys... it's hard to keep a game competitive in this conference when you are on the road against a 9-16 team, while playing in front of upwards of 600 people. Moos needs to take that into considerstion.

About year 6 or 7 of a coaching tenure, this place just starts to suck the life out of ya.
Hit me up if something interesting happens. See ya.

Rinse, repeat about every 5, 6, 7 years. Never get used to it really.

We've gone down this road before. If we want the recruits coming in to stay, retain coach Miles. Move on from coach Miles, the kids need to do whats best for them and their life. The new coach will get his recruits. It will be a rebuild. By year 4 we should be really good, right? pff

Heard all this in December... along with other issues the unity of purpose crew may have. I guess maybe not everyone is on the same page. Me thinks they need to cut a bunch of dead weight in the AD office.

Yep, so much promise, most want to just blow it up and start over. Rinse, repeat every 6-7 years. Such is Nebrasketball life.

I find the whole situation bizarre at best and truly disgusting at worst. Wait, can it be both at the same time?
Either there are some really awful people with a monster axe to grind if this was invented from nowhere -OR- there actually is something behind the rumors and it's just a matter of time before it ends harshly.
Regardless, this athletic department has got to find a way to start winning across multiple programs quickly - it is the only way to shut down the drama seekers.
