I always admired Knight’s Indiana teams and his coaching acumen. His instructional videos on motion offense and man to man defense are not exceeded. He did not cheat in the recruiting game, often winning with less talent. However, his boorish behavior has tarnished his reputation despite the fact many former players admire him.

I went 12-8. That should get us in if we play out the non- conference strong. We are going to run into some very tough matchups and our lack of quality depth will prevent a much better record in league.

Kansa is 6-0, beat LSU at LSU tonight.

We are a long ways from the top teams in the nation. Good effort tonight but we clearly lake top caliber athletes at this level. Team needs to get some wins prior to conference play. B1G wins are going to be hard to come by.

Nice and much needed win. This kind of effort and some execution must continue. Personally, I think Tanner played very well.

Looks like we are running an offense but silly turnovers, careless turnovers have been costly.

I didn’t get to listen to 2 nd half but it appears the team put them away. Hope this builds some confidence. Did anyone notice Drake knocking off South Carolina?

Turnovers need to be reduced. Rebounding, at both ends needs to improve, getting to loose balls must improve. Haiby needs to play more minutes and even start. If Leah Brown defends and rebounds then she should get more minutes than Kissinger, even Verbeek might need to supplant Kate. Where is Maddie Simon? Some of the above simply comes down to effort and desire. Both had better show up on Sunday.

This is probably way off topic, but Michael Jacobson could sure help this team. I am often wrong in my opinions and I was wrong about Jacobson. He had two outstanding games in Maui scoring in the 20’s. Morrow seems to have the same role at Marquette that he had at NU. Finally, I am thankful to Gonzaga for slowing down the Duke hype train. Amazing that no call was whistled in the Dukies favor at games end. Coach K must be losing his touch.

Trying to digest last nights performance and hoping the light at the end of the tunnel isn’t an oncoming train. Woeful offense was played last night with no adjustments being made by the coaching staff. Timid play around the rim by our bigs was a disappointment. We just cannot rely on our 3 pt. shooting, we just aren’t that good. Our 3 pointers need to be and one’s by getting to the rim. Defensively, we probably played well enough to win. Help on offense has to come from somewhere on the bench. Borchart gave some effort that was badly needed when we were being mangled on the boards. We cannot continue to whine about officiating and let it affect our play. These are seniors who have enough experience to adapt to calls. I expect an hellacious effort against Clemson.
