Two more Minnesota departures - Braeden Carrington and Isaiah Ihnen. Pretty surprised by all this, to be honest. It seemed like those players liked playing for Johnson. They could've returned 8 of their 9 rotation guys but now 4 of them have decided to go portaling.
I like Carrington.

Patrick McCaffery could play for us but I doubt he would want to play against his father.

Still waiting for Trev to be told he has to kill the A&M hockey program.
Kill! He might add hockey.

He was a nice cog for us and I wish him well. Opens up a spot for a newcomer.

I think we have the athletic wing with size that we have been searching for.

We do still have one open assistant coaching position.
Do we?

West Virginia had a good plan. They rotated plenty of defenders on Clark and had her frustrated. Afholter, a sophomore, made the play of the game for Iowa. Also, they controlled the tempo.
Paige Bueckers of UConn is playing great and that could be hopeful for Allison W. coming back at full strength.
Creighton played a great game against UCLA, a team that has plenty of size. The Jays have to fall off a lot losing those five Seniors.
Indiana won the right to be mashed by South Carolina. OU certainly knows how to hire coaches that are easy on the eyes. I was a big fan of Sherry Coale.
Wonder how Oregon St will do against Notre Dame.

It must be frustrating being a Utah State fan
Utah St has to feel jilted. Sprinkle did a fantastic job starting from scratch with the Aggies.

A middle of the pack finish. Hope to be better next season.

I voted for “that young man doesn’t know how good he is” Roby. In our system he would be dynamic.
-
I thought this young man had a great deal of potential. He should help some team in the future. Our roster is really top heavy with upperclassmen when you look at the scholarship breakdown.

I was not able to listen to or watch the Oregon State game but thought I had it taped. But with ESPN switching networks all I got was a dog show. I have looked everywhere I can think of for a replay but can't find one. So reading the articles from the sports writers and reading all the blogs here I got a pretty good idea of what happened. We played pretty good defense but didn't get or take good shots on offense. Could one of you explain a bit why Alexis and Natalie were 5 out of 25. Off night? Poor shot selection? etc. Thanks.
The Beavers had a size advantage at every position. We were intimidated inside and they didn’t let Jaz get free. Jaz had to be the set up player with no one to set her up for good looks at the basket

Just reviewed ESPN Team recruiting rankings. USC has the Top Ranked incoming class and UCLA is third. We were considered to be near a Top 25 class but several B1G were above us, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan St, Oregon and Ohio St. We have our work cut out.

This is getting out of control. I cannot believe the Stanford Coach would tolerate this. Her parents must be very proud.

A&M nearly won. But Houston had Shead.

I personally like good basketball. It is not a gender thing. It is a quality thing. We were blessed this year with both our teams playing quality basketball.
But for our ladies having to travel to Corvallis and play Oregon State on the road in front of their fans does not seem fair or does not bode well for parity. If the game was played on a neutral floor, would we have stood a better chance of winning?
Our last time to the Sweet 16 we had to beat Chattanooga and A&M at College Station. Previously, we played at home and defeated UCLA to advance. We have to improve enough to get a Top 16 seed to play at home. K-State was at home and lost to Colorado.
