    it's a long drive back to Omaha right now. these last 21 years have been rough as a fan.

    I get that. I just meant at least maybe he can be coached. other guy is a senior grad transfer so might be too late.

    because they looked terrible and the two guys we were most excited for looked bad and were ball hogs. at least one of them is a freshmen.

    I'm just not super excited. after the terrible ball movement and ball hogs I just witnessed I'm really not excited. time to coach em up

    our 2 volume scorers are absolute black holes right now. terrible ball movement, very little assists. it was a terrible game and I couldn't tell this was a Hoiberg team.

    Sometimes I'm busy and don't catch the game live. Its been hard to go back and catch up. When I saw the boxscore I think it finally sank in... this isn't our year.

    That's a good point. And hopefully Hoiberg is able to convince Teddy of that. We have had hero ball players before who wouldn't pass it when doubled. I think we have enough good players that when someone gets doubled we should be able to find someone to do something with the ball this year.

    My favorite play Teddy Allen made tonight. South Dakota has just cut it to 10. I'm glad Allen is a scorer but I hope this team can really develop its passing mentality and find the extra pass more often than not. We also need to work on find trailers in rhythm. We are good at pressing the ball we just need to figure out how to take advantage of that pace.

    What am I missing? Doesnt he have to sit out a year with only 2 years left? Meaning he will waste a year of eligibility by transferring? When we got him I thought he was a 3 for 3 guy.

    I get what you are trying to say, but at this point it seems like we have 10 spots saved that will turn over.

    I am just not seeing how you can install your culture in a program when you don't have more than 2 of the same players year to year. I get that adding new guys and roster attrition is prevalent, but this is just ridiculous. Next year will be really rough and every year after that until we can get some roster stability.

    Thanks for the info. That's kind of lame. I always respected the way the ivy league protected their student athletes. I also liked how it really made the regular season matter.

    I thought the ivy didn't have a tournament. I thought they were the only conference that awarded their automatic spot to their regular season champion
