CJ did that a couple times last night after Gary made 3's. One time he came out on the court during a break to greet him doing the same gesture. One of the funniest things I've seen on the court in a long time!

My boy was in the hospital due to something outside of his control when the two of us sat in that hospital room & watched on a 20" TV that horrible gut-punch of a ballgame against NW, with opposing guards Boo Buie & Ty Berry htting dagger 3 after dagger 3 whilst mocking Keisei every chance they could. I was livid for a lot of reasons outside of our control. I was just mad and everything sucked. But God's good all the time. My son is starting to heal from his ordeal and on the road to recuperating, and we've been able to attend every single game this season together.  It's been a remarkable time to be resilient and have so much resolve, just like the NU team we cheer for.

To be honest, my 16 y.o. son is my hero. He hasn't blamed anyone or anything for his misfortune or any of his trials or troubles, instead he bucks up in the midst of pain & anguish and keeps his chin up even though he hasn't been able to fully participate in his H.S. sports thus far in the spring season. He is able to start back to his spring season, albeit generally from the sidelines, but his upcoming surgery has finally been set for about two weeks from now, after the regular season, coincidentally. And, after that, then he ought to be able to slowly get back to doing what he loves, soccer, he's played it since he was around 3!!

Not to have this post become too personal, sorry about that... but it is kind of personal to us, I'm saying all this here because I realize that Nebrasketball has been kind of a God-send in a time of fear & unknown circumstances in our lives, and we have made sure to be there at PBA for everyone else we sit by & we cheer our little hearts out for the 2023-24 Huskers -- and watch all the away games together -- because we freakin' care. It's been a fun ride. let's keep this rollin'!! GO BIG RED!! Let's buy our dancin' shoes!! GBR - and we love HHC !!!

20 wins and we have four games more games for sure. This is the kind of season I hoped we’d be having when we hired Fred. I hope like hell we get over our big hump the second half of March, but this has already been one of the most fun seasons I’ve known. Can’t wait to watch the rest play out.

I'll come back to this at the end of January, as by then we'll be halfway through big ten play. I'll have a better idea at that point.

Can't wait for the media to stop talking about our winless road wins in conference play and start talking about our winless record in the NCAA tournament.

    Don't bet against this team.

Blame it on the team.  They made her sing early today.  Usually she can’t drink until a lot later.

I'm giving credit to the halftime show. This game was similar to Creighton at the half and the worst halftime show ever produced ended all hope. Tonight was Simon Says and that guy brought the energy we needed.

Or maybe Fred's halftime speech, but I'm going with Simon

I don’t know man. I just don’t know. I’m shaking and at a loss for words. Unbelievable effort and resolve.

To me, this is one of the greatest wins in Nebrasketball history.

I think it's important though that he maintains in the same role. I don't think this "works" if he starts. Then he has expectations and needed statistical output. Coming off the bench as a back-up PG fits him nicely. Interject some serious energy, dog a guy defensively, attack the paint, maybe hit a big shot, etc...

    HI guys,

I wanted to say thanks to all of you who generousklly helped my partner and I get at least one of us to what's turning out to be a more important opportunity than we ewere originally led to believe. As some of you know, I work for a patient's rights organization called P3 Alliance (where you clicked on our link!) and I'm in charge of policy development and strategy. My disability has degenerated significantly this past year, so I'm down pretty much to my last campaign.

In any event, we have managed to get some meetings scheduled with our own Senator, Jim Lankford, and a few of his colleagues to talk about the effects of the VA Opioid Safety Initiative and changes that everyone wants made to that policy now that we know too many vets have died as a result of "cutting off the spigot" 6-7 years ago. I was almost one of them myself, and I lost literally everything to the opioid war--home, property, my cars, you name it.

With the recent release of Netflix's "Painkiller" film, another movie relying on old and now discredited research more than 5 years old in their script, our allies decided that there needed to be more legislative action taken to protect our community from the inevitable public backlash that follows these types of movies (I estimate OUR movie will be made in about 3-4 years, when most of us are dead!).

In any event, those of you who donated have made it possible for our voices to be heard at the federal level in a more efffective setting than a public hearing. On behalf of chronic pain patients, I can't thank you enough. After all, one of these days, God forbid, it may be you in our shoes, and you're going to hope then that we prevailed now.

Thanks for the assistance, and thank you Matt for allowing Cip to do this and for me it's back to hoops.

    GO BIG RED!!!

Their fans have the commitment to apply their savings that they have from eschewing dental work, to their basketball program. Quite an advantage.

I have a cousin who attended Creighton, and he cheers for Nebraska in every sport, and is gracious during the basketball season. He's an exemplary Jaysker, as is his brother who graduated from UNK and now lives in Omaha and has CU season tickets. I get it. They don't hate the Huskers, they just root for Creighton.

My first real encounter with an annoying Jaysker was at the 2016 football game in Lincoln versus Purdue. After the game, I'm discussing the coming basketball season with another cousin, a UNL grad.

Some d-bag in a red polo pipes in, uninvited, and says, "I root for the only team in the state that matters."

"Oh, yeah?" I ask, knowing the inevitable answer.

    "Creighton. Nebraska sucks."

    And there you have it.

I hope he gets there and finds out his girlfriend was banging some other dude on the team. That causes him to suck and creates a big rift within the team and they end up sucking ass.

If you didn’t hear Sam Griesel’s interview on Sharp & Handley, you should give it a listen. Sam is the ultimate when it comes to repping the Scarlet and Cream. That alone makes it worth a listen. He also drops a couple nuggets regarding the roster for next year. Mentions that Keisei may be largely basing his decision on what the rest of the roster looks like. There’s also a reference to “recruiting” by Sharp that Sam was pretty coy about but could be related to the NDSU big guy (but nothing specific was mentioned).
