Good to have top 20 SOS w/ top 40 RPI... small point of correction, NU is now 19-12. Our RPI is down to 47 now.

Any noteworthy bubble games today? I took a very quick look and USC over Colorado, Texas Tech over Oklahoma State, DePaul over Georgetown, and Washington St over Stanford seem like teams to root for. At this point I suppose these games are more for Nebraska to avoid the play-in round, instead of simply getting an at-large bid.

Not a "bubble game", but Wichita State is about to tip off in their conference tournament. We need them to win the tourney to prevent a bid from being stolen.

If we win out but don't get a bye, and play the 12 seed (say Penn State) in the BTT and LOSE... do you really think we are a lock? I am not so sure.

While this is correct, I think small differences in our RPI take a backseat to other more important factors. I don't think having a 52 RPI vs a 53 RPI is going to make or break us. I want Wisconsin to win because I want them to be rated as high as possible when we play them.This

The USA Today guy actually still has us in the tournament (currently the very last team in). He clarified to me on twitter that if Oregon wins tonight, they will move in and knock us out of his bracket.

Sort of. I think everyone understands that this thread is only relevant if Nebraska keeps winning (which is of course the #1 most important thing). But there are only a set number of bids... and if we have a "good" but not "great" ending to the season, other bubble teams may very well determine whether we get in.

If Bracket Matrix updates today, we're going to see a bump in the # of brackets that we're in. I've glanced at a few that have updated through yesterday's games and we are in some that we weren't yesterday. Win today, and we will be in considerably more brackets in tomorrow's update.

This late in the season, bubble teams losing is more beneficial to us than our past opponents winning (unless it is a huge win, the effect on our RPI is very minimal). Therefore, I think these are the most important games for us today: Any of the last three happening would be huge for us. Thanks to Shuttlesworth for being such a contributor to this thread.
