  1. He dunked more in the highlights than those other two did in their careers.
  2. the same way we did this year getting 6 new guys when we only a couple seniors. Fred will push out guys to make room for someone better. Breidenbach would do well as a 4 or a 5 in his system so there’s time available.
  3. He was previously in the Rivals 150 but dropped out since he wasnt eligible to play at the beginning of the season due to his transfer so he didn’t get evaluated in person and dropped out. It still shows he was good enough after seeing him in one tournament though to get him on the bubble.
  4. Its up now, plan on watching this later, thank you.
  5. Reclassifying has been a thing for quite awhile. I think we are hearing about it more because of the kids we are in on being possible options for it. Still doubt you see many guys redshirting.
  6. I’d imagine the staffs thought was Sanogo was a go and they didn’t want to hard press someone they wouldn’t take over him. They can show they had a need and it hasn’t been filled and that their initial offer still stands. It’s obviously harder but kids in the game understand this stuff.
  7. wilhelm Breidenbach decided to stick with his original class of 2021.
  8. Excited to see a Portland girl playing for the Huskers. It will be nice to have a local rooting interest on top of my normal fandom.
  9. Sallis to Arizona prep school? check out the last line of this article. Also we need the kid in the article just because his name is Omaha. https://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/high-school/2020/05/02/top-freshman-hoops-prospect-omaha-biliew-transfer-hillcrest-prep/3072092001/
  10. He was previously a one time 4 star ranked 105 in the 150 and slid down the rankings. He’s reclassifying and transferring to Hargrave Prep for 2021. He had previously committed to both Tulane and Rhode Island.
  11. Robin washut seems pretty confident and he’s been ahead of every move “officially” made this entire offseason. They’ve had MA on their show several times so you have to assume there’s a strong relationship there that info may be given there.
  12. So looks like we will wait another year for this one.
  13. Some promising potential numbers there.
  14. If you went and watched his “highlight” tape from HS you’d say that without question he fits your description and that there is no way in hell that guy would ever play D1 basketball someday.
  15. He’s content with taking the year off to get bigger, stronger, and faster as well as learning the system. Having that year to acclimate will be so much better than what we got out of Kavas. Worst case scenario it’s not a fit and he graduate transfers after the year and no harm no foul. I think he will only be a specific role player for us and that’s all we will need.
  16. I think having him and the Asian James Harden for 2021-22 will be huge in terms of having guys that can fill up it by spreading you out mixed in with all of the other players we have on the squad. Assuming the team sticks together, which seems rare these days, that team will be so junior and senior dominant they should be a damn good team.
  17. 4 colleges in 4 years will normally say something about someone.
  18. Also getting back on topic sounds like we might have news by early next week.
  19. Football definitely needs that many. With 24 different starting positions and all the niche positions on top of that, then factor in injuries that happen way more often in football.
  20. Matty A was on a radio show a few weeks ago and asked the question about what things might be like with the one time transfer rule in place. He said that you would probably see teams only carry 11-12 scholarship players on a regular basis because you can’t always keep that many guys happy with playing time.
  21. I doubt the friends and family play much of a role. He’s played at a couple different prep schools over the last few years so he’s not living with family and isn’t playing consistently with the same teammates. I’d be willing to guess the only reason he’s waiting is to make sure he can reclassify without having to take the tests normally required. There isn’t a bunch of info yet for guys like him and the NCAA has more pressing matters. Once there’s a definitive answer one way or the other I’d expect a swift process, especially if he can move up.
  22. Those are just the high majors as there’s a slew of mid/low majors as well after him. if he was a grad transfer I bet his offer list would be even larger. Some schools don’t want to use a roster spot for two years to only get one year of play. I actually think it’s a smart play as you can’t play everyone so Fred getting guys that have to sit is smart so they don’t have to worry about playing time right away and can learn the system. In regards to Xavier offering it tells me quite a bit they reached out day one to offer him. They played Indianapolis in an exhibition game last year. No bigger sign of his abilities to me with a school that saw him up close and personal.
  23. I don't expect him to start on next years team and those that cover the team don't as well. Now if he exceeds expectations again and plays out of his mind I won't complain but I expect him to get some good minutes, especially early in crunch time, as he plays solid team ball.
  24. This was eluded to by those highly connected that there was going to be some attrition this weekend, happened Monday, and that spot was almost earmarked for Lakes. I wouldn't say expect a commit immediately but I would assume he's going to be a very solid practice player for us next season while he acclimates to the D1 level for 2021.
