  1. When has that ever not been the case with Lunardi?
  2. 25 point lead with 13:40 left is gone at 2:54...SMH
  3. It's the same reason I think that Washington got votes. They actually meant Wazzu.
  4. We could have all three games at home!
  5. I think our fans need to realize that Minneapolis is a very drivable location and we need to have a large presence at the BTT!
  6. Image is not showing up for me, so I'll add the link to the thread here:
  7. I thought they already did that after last season. He's gonna need a pretty big raise after this season I would imagine, and probably healthy raises for the assistants as well. That is, if we're interested in keeping them all around for next year.
  8. That one was a bit of a miss for me, considering if you asked any Gopher fan at the beginning of the season if they would be happy with an NIT berth this year, I'm sure all of them would have not hesitated to say yes.
  9. ISU, Kansas and Nebraska all in Omaha would probably break records on the secondary market for ticket prices for any 1st/2nd round site in history.
  10. Maryland jumps ahead of Iowa and Penn State leapfrogs Rutgers. Which will happen when Maryland blows out Rutgers in their home arena. Ken's prediction stays at 22-9 (12-8). Torvik does as well. KP's odds of winning the last three games are: Ohio State - 49% Rutgers - 80% Michigan - 65% San José State's season has gone off the rails, I think I'm going to stop providing an update for them now. I'm sure a lot of you will appreciate that! Here we go. KenPom rankings as of 2-26-24 ======================= B1G (10-7): 2. Purdue - W 10. Illinois - L 20. Michigan State - W 22. 11. STOP TRYING TO STIR UP CONTROVERSY @Norm Peterson!!!
  12. KenPom says: 63 Minnesota at 38 Nebraska Nebraska 76-70 (71%)
  13. Apart from seeing a lot of poster's names I haven't seen on here in a while this thread was eye opening for me to see this little gem of a post: I'm pretty sure I posted that in jest, who would have ever guessed we actually had a shot at Fred back then?
  14. Meh, we've had lots of success in Assembly Hall since joining the Big Ten. I am not 100% sure but I think it may be the place we've gotten the most road wins in league play. Definitely top 2 or 3 for sure.
  15. Well this is quite hyperbolic to be fair, but the point is made. I think it would be true that if Creighton made it to the round of 16 or 8 and got eliminated there, that would be greatly overshadowed by a Husker first round win for sure. But if they made the Final 4, that would definitely be a bigger headline locally than the Huskers just getting past the first round.
  16. Someone on r/Huskers the other day (a Husker fan nonetheless) made a comment about the Skers being the "worst P5 men's hoops program of all time" and it sent me into an apoplectic rage. I had to correct him and point out that our overall winning percentage put us ahead of about a dozen other P5 programs. It's just the "never won in the tournament" narrative that so many folks cling to that gives them that impression. Like, I think people are genuinely surprised to learn that we have a better win % (and more wins overall) than Iowa State even though we've gone through 25 years of pretty pathetic records and Iowa State has been elite for 40 years now.
  17. Yeah it's amazing the difference in what having (and then not having) Keyontae Johnson on your team makes eh?
  18. Decent jump for Rider and SCSU moves up into the top 300. Iowa and Maryland swap spots but otherwise things remain pretty much the same. It's nice to get our foot in the door of the top 40, hopefully we can stay in there. Ken's prediction goes up to 22-9 (12-8). Torvik does as well. San José State falls again, this time at Boise State and drops to #242. Here we go. KenPom rankings as of 2-22-24 ======================= B1G (9-7): 2. Purdue - W 12. Illinois - L 16.
