    It was bitterly cold and windy on Jack McVeigh's visit to Nebraska (just about one year ago exactly, at the Indiana game) and he and his family were talking about how they came from 90 degrees and sunny Brisbane. And yet he still picked NU over LSU so it's not like it's impossible to recruit warm weather kids to Nebraska even when it's brutal out.

    Interesting tidbit on him from AllBuffs: Saw his hs team play chicago simeon on tv. Ed Morrow, 6'6" and now a freshman at neebraska, destroyed him. He had an official to illinois (9/19/14). they were sure he was coming.     Giving Nebraska any sliver of making the post season is generous at this point. I think they have a shot but I am also a homer.I don't think I am over reacting to say that this non conference season has been pretty dang bad and worse than any of us expected. It was objectively bad. It has certainly hurt our chances at the postseason. Actually it turned out better than I expected. Just FWIW.Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
