  1. Yep. I got there before you though; I had made my peace with whatever happened before the game even started today. When you step back and look at it today was absolutely the definition of gravy. And we really looked like we belonged there. It's mind boggling to me to think we were playing for seeding in the dance today. At the beginning of the season I was going to be happy with an NIT berth.
  2. We stay at #29. Torvik has us at #24.
  3. Judging by how gassed everyone looked by the end of the game I'd say it's likely that whatever bug he (and Brice) has has been going through the guys. Hopefully they can all get through it and be 100% for next week.
  4. Short turnaround, short bench and apparently some kind of bug running through the guys right now probably doomed us in this one. Might be a blessing in disguise though, having an extra day of rest before we play our first round game may prove helpful. (But it would have been nice to get to the final, we would have been the home team)
  5. IIRC, Miles had an impeccable against ACC teams.
  6. Seems like BTN talking teams up is the kiss of death. I kinda like flying under the radar.
  7. Nice to have reports like this with someone who has boots on the ground in MPLS. Keep it up @Shawnee City FC! I'm curious to hear if there is an even bigger contingent of Huskers fans up there today.
  8. I didn't get an update up after the Michigan game, sorry about that. Duquesne is all the way up to #94 now, just about on par with Indiana. Rutgers is into the triple digits. We popped up to 27th after our win last night but have settled in at #29. But #25 and #29 are separated by less than 0.10 of a point. Torvik has us at #22, ahead of #23 Wisco and #24 MSU. Here we go. KenPom rankings as of 3-16-24 ======================= B1G (12-8) (1-0 BTT): 3. Purdue - W 10. Illinois - L 17. Wisconsin - L, W 20. Michigan State - W 29. Nebraska 46. Northwestern - W, L 47. 9. At this point I think a lot of us in the HHCC are just picking games with the reverse jinx in mind.
  10. Stanford fired Jerod Haase. Tim Miles works just down the street...
  11. KenPom says: 27 Nebraska vs. 11 Illinois B10-T Illinois 81-77 (63%)
  12. We're going for more than a dip now. Up to #27. Only 0.02 behind #26 Texas.
  13. This is the song that was playing in the arena during that interview...so I'll add it as my post game thread song:
  14. Man, I wish we would have been able to get Dainja. He is a beast!
  15. Sounds a lot like the Dixon HS/Isaiah Roby story.
  16. Any contract can be negotiated...
  17. Gregg McDermott about to get a HUGE raise.
  18. Yeah I forgot to add that part, LOL. I may or may not have done the same thing myself, just to check and see if anyone is paying attention to what I post.
  19. Dimes likes to c/p his essentials articles from earlier in the season is my theory; I have found things that he forgot to update before. That was likely the point spread when we played last month in Bloomington.
  20. I was in San Antonio in 2014 and was pretty shocked at how many Husker fans were out on the Riverwalk the night before. I would say comfortably 10-1.
  21. KenPom says: 84 Indiana vs. 29 Nebraska B10-T Nebraska 76-70 (70%) One win
