    If I remember correctly we came out in the 1-3-1 a couple of times out of timeouts or dead balls - but just played it for one possession and then went back to man.

    Yes this is harder than people may think. Illinois has some talent. 0-5 but 3 of those 5 games went to overtime. We can't just "expect" to win, Need to come out with a strong effort.

    Exactly. Not sure if PSU called it from the bench but they took us out of our play before it ever started. Roby had been struggling from the line so maybe they thought even if they call the foul it is not a bad thing for them if Roby goes to the line with time left.

    It was not a great lineup for offense - particularly with Taylor. But that was the group that made the 1-3-1 work. We did bring Gill in at the end to help on O.

    Problem with the 1-3-1 is we can't rebound out of it. But it has got us back in the game because they can't figure it out.

    Think Palmer thought Gill was going to get it and vice versa. Not an excuse though.

    Can'tbelieve they actually called Watkins for going over the back.

    Announcer says you can do that if you don't make contact - while the replay runs showing the guy laying on Roby's back.

    Think maybe someone needs to hit Matt Haarms somewhere other than in the balls.

    That was not a shooting foul either. Guy had not even thought about taking a shot until after the contact by Palmer.

    Just refused to call a foul on Haas on that play. Should have been his 3rd.

    Boy did they blow that out of bounds call. Of course should have been a foul on Mathias way before then also

    Like vs. Northwestern they are really allowing defenders to get away with a lot of contact this game. Wonder if that is going to be a pattern in conference games this year?
