  1. Really poor shooting team from what I saw. They came out and didnt match St. John's intensity and got run out of the gym. Same thing has happened vs. Creighton for the last few years. Miles just can seem to push the right buttons with these teams and is lost. its early in the season but with the history of his teams in Lincoln I doubt things change much.
  2. How much time does Morrow take to improve his "skill set"? To me he never struck me as a guy that took his off time to refine his game. Is he going to all of the sudden become a different type of player just because he changes schools? I think he will just end up playing the 5 spot again.
  3. I would be so pleased if NU became a Basketball success without having to kiss the rears of the Omaha basketball "Elite".
  4. I think he has alot of the abilities you want from a kid his size. Nice soft hands and seems to have some basketball IQ there. His size is really something that will help him. If he can get a few RB and eat up a few fouls inside to keep the other guys available I like him.
  5. Its not like these kids just started playing basketball yesterday. It just seems when they are away of PBA they act like it. No offense in the world will cure brick shooting. They need to get right between the ears when they are on the road. Coach will try to push buttons to find the issue but these guys need to start balling. I think this team lacks a balanced leader on the floor. If they had a good floor general type point this team would be lots better. Just my opinion, wrong or right, thats how I feel.
  6. Van Slyke was a steady player. Fundamentally sound. Not really athletic but one of those guys that will play smart and hard all game.
  7. Doesn't appear to be lead footed in the videos posted. Seems smooth enough. An average of 7 blocks a game shows at least some sort of athletic ability. Put him in the weight room and coach him up.
  8. Biggs has the quicks to do so much offensively but it almost seems like he focuses more on the cute move rather than finishing sometimes. Pitchford can do some impressive dunking but I would rather see him play solid D and box out. He has the tools to be pretty good. Hope he can get things going for the Huskers. Webster looked like he was just coasting even at the end. Will be interesting to see how he playes once the whistle blows in a real game. Never liked scrimmages as they usually turn into a playground pickup game after the tip off.
  9. Jess Shepard is a player that can post up inside and work to create her own shot if necessary. Hooper probably will never get to the level of Kelsay.
  10. Jordan Hooper can't create her own shot. She rushed way to many scoring chances too. 00 from Illinois had to have had 5 or more offensive rebounds. That really hurt.
  11. Brian Christopherson ‏@HuskerExtraBC Tim Miles on BTN: "We're a little bit of a root canal on offense right now." #Nebrasketball
  12. Brian Rosenthal ‏@HuskerExtraBR I'm told David Rivers (ankle) is full-go tonight for #Nebrasketball.
