Could be. They are also very short-handed. From the Northwestern boards, it appeared that they said that Hearn was under the weather.
They suffer many of the same problems that Nebraska does. I thought it was going to be a barn-burner based off the first half, but evidently not!
Free throw troubles for both teams, but Northwestern seems insistent on intentionally fouling to extend the game. Not a chance with how poorly they're shooting.
Unfortunately, probably not enough time to hit the Runza plateau.
'Cats are in desperation mode, just chucking threes at each chance, and often missing badly.
Rivers commits a push foul on the boards.
It's 52-40 after a kickout three by the 'Cats.
Too much dribbling as Sobo takes the ball away, but Marcotullio misses a three. Talley nails a long two! 54-40.
'Cats are only 4/9 on the stripe and are getting killed on the boards.
Talley-ho! Big Red up by 12!
Hearn misses a three, but benefits from a TEAM offensive rebound.

Nebraska-Northwestern games always seem to be heavily competitive in each sport.
Gallegos... "GOT IT!" 38-31.
'Cats get turned over, but the fastbreak layup missed and is rebounded by Northwestern.

Missed the first half because of a ט"ו בשבט סדר. Looks like it's a competitive game! (Unfortunately, I do not obtain ESPNU at my place, so I get the radio.)
It'll be an interesting game. Obviously, I am compelled by it no matter what happens.
Oddly enough, the 'Cats have been a much better road team than they have a home team this year, so that could somehow make it tough for the Huskers.
That was an incredibly pleasant surprise for me, to say the least. It helped that the refs appeared to call a lot more fouls on Illinois.
Huskers are up, 56-44 with ??:?? in the game.
