Teams have roster turnover, that's NCAA basketball in 2019, but after a trip to Italy and eight games of the season, blaming 30 point deficits on newness is disingenuous, It's lack of talent, lack of effort, lack of strategy.

I'm not buying the "whole team is new" argument. This is the reality of college basketball and there are a ton of teams with huge turnover who wouldn't fall behind Creighton by 30.

Yes. I understand that we don't have everything in place in a transition year, but I don't understand how the NBA tanking mentality has taken hold in college. You have a set of players, you have to coach an play in way that gives you a chance to win. This idea of building for the future only works if you are developing and improving. COMPETE!
