  1. That was a fascinating read. Thanks for posting Kamdy. Hopefully the whole family has a reason to come back home in a couple years (Grandma and Grandpa too)!
  2. Elbert must be in orange on the north end of sideline. Miles looks awfully small next to him.
  3. Should we be concerned that we haven't heard anything on Sai with signing day only 9 days away. I was hoping for word on a visit by now. But maybe this is a good thing if he is laying low and our staff will bring him in late and blow him away. Any info out there I have missed?
  4. +1. I hope Vucetic does stay since many big guys can develop and maybe redshirt him, but he is older already as he turned 20 in December. Ubel is 21 now. Miles likes to switch on screens with our gaurds and this works with similar sized players, until parker has to switch and then a anyone taller than than 6' 2" is getting a shot off.
  5. It is looking like I may be in town early enough to attend and will be with my Dad. A big time lurker is excited to meet some of you. My schedule is changing by the minute though...
  6. Shields because he will see the most minutes since he plays within himself, can gaurd many types of players, is getting good at creating his own shot and will be a leader.
  7. What has hurt Ray's 3 point % is the lack of scoring options on this team and the defense he draws. Anyone that has played competitive ball knows that the shots Ray is taking are some of the toughest in basketball. Most of his shots are moving off screens or off the dribble usually with tight defense. Collecting yourself to shoot while moving that speed takes a good athlete. These are tough shots. If he were shooting 3s on kick outs his percentage would be better. Ray has amazed me so far this year and he has taken full advantage of redshirting. Add the fact he is athletic enough to gaurd most 1s and 2s in the Big 10, I really look forward to what he may be able to do on a young but deep team next year.
  8. Kenny Cheatham's son by chance? Kenny was from Arizona and Zylan would have been born when Kenny was in college.
