So I've said this before, but I'll say it again because this game seems to fit the bill. Wins, losses, I don't care this season. Never did at the very start of the season and don't now. The only thing I've wanted to see all season was progress; a way for us to bridge the gap between a fresh 4-5 starters building some camaraderie, starting to make some shots, and building into the next season where we we'll get an inflection of talent on the team. I've only seen it in one or two other games, but there's parts of this game that give me a glimmer of hope. If we can start to get some ball movement, solid shot selection, and make some baskets, then that will set us up for next season. I just want to have expectations about our team again.

2021 Big Ten Basketball Tournament relocated

Might as well just pen us in for the March Madness tournament since we'll already be there. [Nebraska waiting for other teams to drop due to COVID protocols] -
Not disagreeing with the assessment. I believe some of our programs are in bigger shambles than we'd like to admit to ourselves. But over the last 20 years of our basketball and football programs, the strategy of a revolving coaches seat isn't a solution either. Hoiberg needs his time, and we should give him his time. Mind you, I haven't seen year-over-year progress happening to this point, but I'm not evaluating his worthiness into Year 4. Then I'm ready to start having that conversation. All that aside, it seems you've heeded the advice of the Nebraska men's athletic programs by doing less with more. Your post could've just been summed up with "We suck." and it would've had the same message.

It's not. At all. And more than likely the ones we want to leave will stay and the ones we want to stay will show themselves to the door.
