  1. Sometimes I wonder if our dunking percentage is lower than our free throw percentage.
  2. ...unless you're playing against Nebraska.
  3. "Here's one of their shooters that has been in a big slump....." [Makes basket] Right on cue.
  4. Every time we've either won or lost the opening tip-off in conference play, we've lost.
  5. Our postponed games were Purdue, Maryland, Minnesota, Iowa, and Penn State. We've rescheduled Maryland already, and Purdue double header just makes sense of you're trying to get back to 20 games. I'm not sure what other teams have left to reschedule, but if you introduce Rutgers or Northwestern to the mix, that leaves them with more than conference games, while others haven't been able to play 20.
  6. I would imagine we'd be able to cram in 1-2 more games. Getting to 20 would require some rescheduling of other teams as well. The easiest add would be a double header with Purdue, similar to what we're doing with Maryland, as both teams have a gap in scheduling.
  7. I mean, scheduling is a lot more complicated than just pulling names out of a hat. Especially if you're trying to factor in travel, balance of schedule, etc. That aside, it does seem the Big Ten has backed themselves into a corner for baseball and it's not a great look for the conference.
  8. Still on track to get the #10 seed at 7-9!
  9. What about beloved John Higgins? From Omaha, went to Kearney State College: https://www.si.com/college/2016/01/28/ncaa-basketballs-most-recognized-referee-well-traveled-john-higgins
  10. Don't even watch the play, watch Hoiberg instead. You can tell there was a lot that broke down during that play just by looking at him.
  11. Great question and I'm sure he did. But I'm blaming Kevin Warren still. Fair enough.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Hoiberg who said he'd like to reschedule all five postponed games by any means possible?
  13. If I had to make any guesses, we'll be able to schedule a back-to-back game with Purdue, similar to what we're doing with Maryland soon. Both our schedule gaps align well with that. That leave us with Iowa, Minnesota, and Penn State to reschedule. Unless there's some creativity in adjusting schedules around, I'd guess we'd only be able to reschedule one of those remaining three postponed games.
  14. Normally Top 15 Nationwide Attendance - 62 COVID Attendance > Normal Attendance - 72
  15. It seems I had a different takeaway from this game than many others. Let me preface by saying what I've said many times before. Wins/losses, going into this season none of that mattered to me. I just wanted to see progress going into next season when we see an influx in our recruiting class. That said, this season has been a complete an utter disaster. Aside from Michigan, there was very very little progress I saw that we built on going into the season. Enter Wisconsin and Illinois, and I'm finally starting to see some progress. We need to build on this, but this loss today felt so much better than a win against McNeese, NDSU, South Dakota, and Doane combined.
  16. Do you really have to bring up the 2021-2022 season right now??
  17. Just 1 more FG in regulation and you win.
  18. Can't spell "Heroball" without "Allen".
  19. That was chalked up just about as good as Doc Sandler's inbound plays.
