  1. Two sophomores, one who has yet to play a minute for the Huskers.
  2. That stinks. Hope he can recover and get back at it by next season.
  3. ...because those are only Country Clubs in that list.
  4. Nebraska, central Nebraska. between York & Grand Island (and not far from my motherland, Aurora ). Ah, one of those little towns I've never heard of. That's not even far. Good luck, Cip. I'll try and stop in next time I head west.
  5. Cip! Sorry to see you go. I'm kinda making the transition into self employment as well. Good luck. When you say Hampton, that's Virginia, right?
  6. I wasn't sure on that either. Thought it might have been Terran, too, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ray...
  7. I'd be shocked if he hasn't but I don't expect that he, himself, monitors it. I'm sure someone in the hoops offices keeps tabs on what happens here.
  8. Until you run into teams with skilled big men, which the Jays will. You can be undersized, but you can't be grossly undersized. not sure where Creighton would fit into that mix.
  9. Read the article again. It comes across as it started as a promotional thing and they've discussed using it further. Also, if Boehm got a flood of emails saying it's a terrible idea, he'd pay attention to that. That sort of thing has gotten their attention in the past.
  10. Early signing period limits how much decommitting happens.
  11. No harm in going to watch the kid.
  12. Is there video of the actual video shown at the scrimmage?
  13. Don't really have a problem with it. It's a workable song. It seems more like an anti Bon Jovi thing than anything. The song itself works just fine. You really think this song or any other is going to have any impact on the game when Michigan or Ohio State or Indiana comes to town? C'mon now.
  14. You're on a corner, so it might not be so bad. I'm parallel to the court, so its in the middle of the view all along the length of the bottom of the court, or at least it was for me. Will probably be a bit different depending on your height.
  15. The only "obstructed" seats that I'm aware of are the seats directly behind the stairs opening in the second and third decks. So if you got unlucky and got seated in the couple seats that happen to be right behind the opening you will be partially looking through the railing with the cable wires running through the railing. It's the thing that prevents people from falling off the cliff. The rail that runs along the rim of the 200 and 300 levels will impede the views of nearly all people in the first row. In the 200 level, it shouldn't impact anyone beyond that. I'm in row 2 of the 200 level, on an aisle and I didn't have any trouble.
  16. This somewhat exists already with the BTN Extra channels out there. That would take a lot of filler Not necessarilly. In the DC/Baltimore area the RSN that covers the Nats and Orioles have two channels. the second one is only active when there's overlap in the two teams playing. They could do something like that and could then cover all football, men's and women's hoops and increase their coverage of the rest from there. That said, i'm not sure there's demand for that.
  17. More tea leaves: https://twitter.com/RobinWashut/status/386186554994999297
  18. Yeah it would be real smart to keep the forum named after where we USED to play... I get that change is sometimes uncomfortable for folks, but I don't understand the logic of keeping the forum named after the Devaney Center. Doesn't make sense to me. Yet those people will have an advantage in this voting. The way it is right now, you could say appx. 15% want to keep the same name and 85% want to change the name. Unfortunately for those who want the name changed, their votes will be dispersed over 10-15 different options. The voting structure makes it look like most people want to keep the same name but that's not really the case. You can apply that logic to any of them, though, especially when you're allowed to vote for multiple options. Best to establish a method and criteria (which they did) and stick to it.
  19. According to FlightAware.com, it arrived in Dallas at 10:25 this morning. Just 6 minutes before ER's tweet.
  20. Yeah, how many TV sets is the BTN on? Compared to, say, Fox Sports 1? Currently, BTN is in 90 million homes, FS1 is in about half that. FS1 is in 90 million homes. Ah, you're right, misread it.

  22. Then, shouldn't Rex Burkhead be on that plane?
  23. well, we've had that for as long as this board has been around...
