Dead Dog Alley got a reaction from busticket in Preliminary starting lineup for 21-22
A lot of those years we made up for our lack of shooters with a lack of size and a lack of athleticism.

Just when I'm ready to put up another "Owww, My Balls" post, this news comes along and breaks the 130 year trend...

Matthew Atewe would have been the second coming of Wayman Tisdale if he'd just come to Nebraska. Instead we jinxed his recruitment with a 39 page thread.

Personally, I was just doing my part to make sure this thread didn't go over 20 pages.
You're welcome.

I'll call it then (and given my 0% accuracy rate on predictions, I'm feeling pretty confident about this):
Teddy, Trey, Yvan, Kobe, Mayen, Banton go to G-league or overseas.
Stevenson, Walker, Arop, Emmanuel, Wood transfer.
Thor comes back for a fifth year.

Dead Dog Alley reacted to jayschool in Big Ten Question
All I want to see is a semi-revival of the Big Eight Holiday Tournament in KC, with a four-team tournament that permanently features Nebraska, Colorado and Missouri. The fourth team rotates in from the current roster of the Big XII — KSU, ISU, OSU, OU and Kansas. Or you could do a six-team, three-day extravaganza with a rotation of games like this:
Day 1
KU vs. NU
KSU vs. MU
ISU vs. CU
Day 2
KSU vs. NU
ISU vs. MU
KU vs. CU
Day 3
ISU vs. NU
KU vs. MU
KSU vs. CU

Dead Dog Alley got a reaction from jayschool in Higher Win Percentage this Season: Basketball or Football?
If Ameer Abdullah doesn't fumble a punt the week before against Iowa, that game might have had a different outcome.
Two plays after the fumbled punt, Baker blows a knee. So against Wisconsin they have to move Cameron Meredith Baxter Birney inside to tackle, where he had no chance of holding up. The defense overcompensates to try to defend the middle of the field, Melvin Gordon runs wild on the jet sweep, and you know the outcome. With Baker do they have a chance? Maybe. And then Bo goes to Arkansas, doesn't burn the program down when he leaves, we don't hire Mr. Rogers, and who knows what happens.

The conference can mandate that people can't attend games. They can't mandate that for some reason we're going to have a covid party inside of the arena where we play basketball. Good Lord!

Dead Dog Alley got a reaction from Handy Johnson in This is a conversation I think we need to have.
Leavng that game, the guy walking down the street who was right in front of me got an extra treat from the halftime show. He stepped right in a huge pile left by the elephants. I’m guessing he had an unpleasant ride back to the hotel.

Are we allowed to comment on this or are only certain viewpoints permitted?
I just want to know the rules so I don't violate them.

Yes. He did. That's true. He lost a bet with Jason Peter is how I understood it.

Dead Dog Alley got a reaction from Cazzie22 in Will they or won't they: A poll
It can be done, football can be played and social distancing measures can be maintained at the same time. I've seen it happen. In 2014 the Nebraska defense showed tremendous discipline in maintaining social distance from Melvin Gordon as he ran for 400 yards.
