  1. Coming from someone who, 23 years ago, witnessed Colorado coming to Lincoln ending a 28 game road losing streak in Big 8 games, it's good to know that we are no longer slump-busters.

  6. To be fair, back in 2014 hopes for what actually happened appeared to be fool's gold as well. I'd say we have about a 1 in 5 chance of a couple guys getting hot down the stretch and getting some breaks with the schedule, and making the postseason.
  7. How does Watson have his career high for assists on a night we don't score 60? I'd say that's hard to do.
  8. We only had seven guys that played more than four minutes, and only 43 minutes off the bench. A rotation doesn't get much tighter than that.

  10. No, it means that the regularly scheduled game with St. John's doesn't count against the limit as far as the number of games you're allowed to play.
  11. If it played out like that and we lost the 6th place game to Oregon State...it would not be a sign of progress.
  12. The results of the second game would count. What it doesn't count against is the total number of games Nebraska can schedule; playing a team in a regularly scheduled game that is also in the same exempt tournament you are in doesn't count against your limit, for some reason. So it allows Nebraska to play an extra game this year.
  13. During Copeland's first 51 games in college, he was 45-125 from 3 (36.0%). In the 25 games since he is 10-72 (13.9%). In those last 25 games, in the 20 games where he did not hit a 3 pointer he went 0-49 and averaged 6.2 points per game, while shooting 49% on 2 pointers. In the 5 games he actually made one, he went 10-23 from 3, for 43.5%, and shot 61% from 2 with an average of 19.6 ppg. So in the past, if he's not hitting any threes, his offense overall is not nearly as productive.

  17. If Copeland doesn't get untracked, this will be a long season. Just not enough offense unless he gets going. When he was at Georgetown, in games he hit a three he averaged 13 points a game. In games he didn't hit a three he averaged 5. As of now he hasn't hit a three since March 2016.
