I'm putting the over/under win total at FIVE.
For the non-conference, or for the whole season?

When the Big One hits Superior will it make the Republican River run backwards?

The days of the 15 footer are gone. Analytics say it's a bad shot. As bizarre as it may seem, posts that can shoot threes at at a borderline respectable rate are more valued than posts that can hit 15 footers at a good rate.
Analytics miss the fact that it forces defenses to defend the whole court and makes offenses more effective in the paint and outside the line.

Power 5 quickly went from: ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-12, and SEC to --
Big Ten and SEC, and then everybody else.
Big 12 now flexing their bridges for recruiting:
Iowa State had as many 9 win football seasons between 1900 and 2022 as Nebraska did between 1900 and 1904.

Don’t you guys love watching our players light it up when they are not wearing their Husker uniforms?
One thing to remember is, when you're in a Husker uniform and playing in the Big Ten, this is not a foul:

I found it charming in the Washington Post article concerning this expansion that Nebraska was still considered a National “Brand” #GBR not bad for a program that hasn’t won a Conference Title in Football for nearly 25 years & Basketball for 70…

There is nothing appealing about Nebraska anymore
Let's just change the name of the state to Southernmost Dakota then, and get it over with.

Being the Big Ten's San Diego is kind of like being the Japanese Seth Curry.

If Blaise Keita is closer to Derrick Chandler than Andre Almeida…
I hope so or he might get stuck in Almeida's Orbit.

That is correct. This one is in KC at T-Mobile center. I have my hotel room booked already but that is same night that NU volleyball could play for National Championship in Omaha as well and already have tickets for that also. So not sure which I'm going to yet.
The Kansas State game might be our best shot to get to 6 wins for the season and bowl eligibility...oh wait, wrong sport.

Top 144 countdown has begun, we're at 135, last in the BIG.
Seems like we were in the 90s last year.
That Jamion Christian guy has his work cut out for him.

If you ever went to the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago (Chee-burger, Chee-burger) they had Schlitz DARK on Tap & it was actually one of the best beers I’ve ever had.
I made sure I ordered a Coke so I could hear "No Coke! Pepsi!".

His legacy: 40th pick on a 10-win team.
An interesting footnote 20 years from now.
20 years from now, when people start talking about how Lincoln should build a new arena and maybe that will be what finally helps Nebraska get its first NCAA Tournament win.

$0.10 in 1900, adjusted for inflation, is $3.04 in 2019. That's a CAGR of 2.91% per year.
Or, $7.28 by 2024. At least at the beginning of the year. Probably more like $9.47 by that November.

Sorry have not played basketball since High School in the 80's. Biking, Hiking, and Roller skating is about all this 52 year old can handle...although I'm considering some inline skates.
That’s impressive - at 52 I’ve found challenging activities to be navigating a flight of stairs or lifting my arm above my head.the weird thing about getting older, for me,is that recovery time from a sprained ankle was about two months at age 16, and is now about two minutes. I can now turn either one completely and even if I fall to the ground, I can just walk it off. It must have something to do with the previous several hundred sprains.

I heard there was a Warriors Celtics game on, so I figured that the Joe Barry Carroll vs Robert Parrish matchup would be interesting to watch. But for some reason those two weren’t playing so I lost interest.

If I went to Applebee's twice in one night, I'd keep silent, too.
Speaking for myself, I'm looking forward to stopping at an Abblebee's next year and trying out their 2 for $200 special.

I agree with @aphilso1's assessment, especially on the athleticism.
However -- and people are going to hate me for saying this but I'll say it anyway -- the guy whose game his game reminds me of?
Chucky
No, for real.
I don't see a strong enough resemblance that I would make a comparison...

I must be a babbling idiot I have watched every game you can on TV and been to at least one home since I was 4. I am 61 now, soooo…
You could have spent that time doing something less painful, like, I don’t know, dry humping a porcupine or something.- busticket and Silverbacked1

So in ten years when we’re picked 24th, will everyone look back with fondness at being picked 14th?
