Likewise, I just thought it was funny when they played & everyone was like, they’re SO “old” Well yeah, they’re in their 70’s  fer Christ’s sake...

When Pete and Roger played at the Super Bowl in 2010 they were "only" 64 and 65.

That seems younger to me now!

I'm a big fan from the 60's on.

God, now I've got to go checkout some homes.

  2. Until we can not only sell out the arena but actually have the seats fully occupied for all B1G games and at least all mid majors and up, we don't need to ruin the atmosphere by putting in a couple thousand more of the least occupied seats.

Leave it as it is unless we can consistently sell and occupy the current 300 level seats for perhaps 3 to 5 years.

If we do that, it means we have had success. Perhaps then and it will be time to expand.

Before that time, we should strive to make Husker PBA games a very tough ticket.

James had a great game tonight.  Led the Suns with 23 points!  Had 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal!

I realize I don't follow NBA summer rules; so, I found it interesting when I read he had seven fouls. What is the rule there?

Crazy to think that the same calendar year that Nebraska football doesn't have a player picked since 1962, that Nebraska basketball has a player selected for the first time since '99, which is the last time NU had a football conference championship. And that coincides with the last time that NU hoops had a significant run of success with 5 NCAA's in 8 seasons.

So, I guess you are saying the stars are aligned to go back to the future!

A fine nice place where Huskers win big.

Have you heard names of players who are actually in town and ready/available for practice?  It'd be nice to know who was all here.

Also, does Stevenson need a waiver to be able to play in Italy?  I assume they all can practice even if they can't play.

Here is Jacob P's article with Fred partially answering the whose in town question.

It looked worse when I tried to embed the tweet! Copy and paste was the best I could do.

Dimes has a tutorial on this somewhere but I could not find it. I hope this is accurate. If it is Dimes latest tweet will appear

I believe the short version is 1) you find the tweet you want 2) click on the time at the top of the tweet 3) the tweet is enlarged and a new address shows up 4) copy and paste the new address in your message content 5) then it will magically appear when you submit your reply.

I’d be pretty shocked if KU actually offered, although they have missed out on a ton of recruits this cycle, which is rare for them. I thought Ed Chang, with similar measurables, was a better prospect. Chang barely saw the floor at San Diego State last year before putting his name in the portal.

Maybe Kansas is not offering $ this recruiting cycle due to their FBI situation.

So although I am pretty sure what we will see will be great, I cannot and will not put on my rose-colored glasses just quite yet.

If you are "pretty sure what we will see will be great", you already have on your rose-colored glasses.

You just need to either drink the kool-aid, get a beer and nyquil chaser (@ Conley's?) or sing a few verses of Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

Man, tickets to Husker basketball games have been bargain basement for a long LONG time.  Kansas fans are paying $75 per game for a seat equivalent to our 300 level seats, and $150 per game plus a MASSIVE donation for 100 level comps.  I think we have to consider ourselves lucky we're getting such a bargain.

Perhaps we should let the AD know we will allow them to up the ticket prices $10 for every national championship and $5 for every runner-up finish. that would get us there.

I agree that the ball park should over look the the skyline of Omaha. But we didn't have say and if u don't like the the set up don't go to the games there.

Unfortunately, that is what many people now choose to do. I was raised on the CWS while going to all but a handful of games in the last 40+ years. I am sorry their poor choice of set up makes the prospect of watching on TV more appealing to many. I can always look at the Omaha skyline when I walk to my car or while driving home.

Why do you want to see the skyline? Were you involved in this in some way?
