  1. We arguably have the best kid out of the state this year with Braden Frager. The problem with landing the Nebraska kids out of the portal you're talking about is that they are up there in terms of cost to obtain. Chucky has a Badger tattoo and he's on the road to signing with a Louisville team that lost 24 games last year. $$$ and it's tough to blame him.
  2. The very funny thing about that sentiment is that Nebraska only ended up in the Big 8/12 because they got turned down multiple times trying to join the Big 10 at the beginning of the century.
  3. If I didn't know better I'd think that Fidler had to convince Michigan State to take him. Fidler is the first guy they landed out of the portal in the last two years.
  4. Have to think that MSU in the running for Chucky simply because Fidler is there. Seems more like Chucky is going to get paid to lose at Louisville though
  5. Nebraska playing Texas A&M likely was part of the reason CJ ended up there as he would have been scouted by them as part of that process and they obviously liked what they saw
  6. Quote from the coach “As we build our roster, Connor’s skillset fits what we are looking for,” Hoiberg said. “He has performed at a high level in the Big Ten and was one of the top freshmen in the conference two years ago when he set a school record for 3-pointers by a freshman. Connor is an outstanding shooter and has that confidence that good shooters have. He’s been on successful teams at both the high school and college level and the experience he has gained playing in the Big Ten the past two years should help him make the transition to our system.
  7. This is easy. You recruit HS kids so that you have a better chance to land them on their 2nd-5th stop.
  8. KenPom highlights the highest rating given to your program since 1997
  9. It's very nice to have a program with respectable NIL '
  10. A depth chart for the sake of recruiting Caveats If the freshmen do anything, consider it a bonus I don't care about the order of the players listed. Ulis could start over Worster, that doesn't matter here. Didn't list backups. Griffiths could play at the 4, etc. I'm trying to figure out what we need and I'd like to me we want to recruit to functionally keep him as a big shooting guard. PG Worster/Ulis SG Essegian/Griffiths/Sam SF Brice PF Gary C Morgan/Mast? Janowski and Frager Things change if Mast will be available. However seems like two post players for our remaining 3 scholarships and then whatever's clever with our last.
  11. Not sure how serious this is though your description of him is Juwan Gary like.
  12. I mentioned Skogman. Also keep a look out for Baba Miller. Assuming that we're still working on William Kyle and Malique Ewin.
  13. Their best 3pt shooting game of the season in terms of percentage and 2nd best in terms of makes.
  14. Good skillset for a team that finished as the 342nd best 3pt shooting in D1
  15. Per Amie Just, Wilcher said that A&M was one of the two teams pursuing him the most. No idea on the other.
  16. Nebraska is the only school that has been voted out of the AAU. 4 others left voluntarily. It has to be helpful to have Gold as President since our AAU membership is dependent on having UNMC's research dollars under the umbrella of UNL
  17. Between the shooting ability and possibly the defensive issues, guy most likely to get the side eye from Brice this season
  18. Pleasantly surprised by the rebounding rates from Essigian over the last couple of years. Will easily be a plus over Keisei or CJ in that department. Not entirely sure what Griffiths brings in that department because of how dominant Cliff was there.
  19. It's got to be tough to want to be a loyalty guy and then get recruited over
