  1. I've always been a fan of Admiral Porpoise myself
  2. Re: Essegian losing playing time and transferring 2022-23 season 2023-24 season Regardless of the intent, Essegian got recruited over. If someone has some time they could probably dig through Wisconsin message boards about why he was basically phased out of the rotation. Could have just been a simple confidence thing. Pretty easy to see why he'd want a change of scenery though. Seems like he easily could be a drop in place Wilcher replacement with the potential to go Tominaga.
  3. Seems like a fork in the road signing with Hepburn and Fidler both available
  4. Maybe it's our PGs or maybe we don't need it but I'm struggling to see a guy who can drive to the basket and draw contact. Maybe that's Brice but boy we'd better hope that building the entire team around Brice is going to work.
  5. Seems like Mast might not play so as more European post types
  6. I think with Lahkin out of the picture our next name on the cocktail napkin is David Skogman
  7. Conferences are desperate to grow revenue. I can't dismiss this enough.
  8. Wouldn't think so until we dot our i's and grapheme our c's
  9. Seems highly doubtful that a team with a PG is going to outspend Wisconsin
  10. His agent negotiated that he got the locker furthest away from Hunter Dickenson
  11. Feels like 'making less NIL combined than Andrew Morgan' is not the play here
  12. This is the Instagram post you make after you think you made the wrong college choice because you didn't get as much playing time as you wanted. Maybe he's star at Penn St or maybe this is his second stop on the way to his 3rd or even 4th stop. Time will tell.
  13. The connection to note for Eli Rice to Penn St is that Rice was heavily recruited by VCU who at the time was coached by now Penn St coach Mike Rhodes.
  14. With all due respect to Fansided and this author, they will let any moron print anything on that site.
  15. If you can get PGs that can hit 3s or post players that can hit threes, great. However at some point it's important to value defending and rebounding as well given they're factors to winning. As long as Fred has self-starting guys, he's more than capable of adjusting his gameplan.
  16. We're interested but probably not interested in paying what it will take to land Payne.
  17. Worster's great grandfather was born in Lincoln. His great-great grandfather migrated to Lincoln from Russia.
  18. We'll see what my 2024-25 looks like but you might have just stumbled onto a bit I might lean into
  19. Full name is Herman Rolland Worster II His grandfather Rolland Worster lettered for Nebraska Wesleyan in basketball in 1957.
  20. If you look at it like replacing Lawrence and Boogie with Ulis and Worster and Keita with Kyle or Panye it looks pretty reasonable. The only reason to make Worster for Keisei comparisons is because we still have 4 open scholarships I assume that Hoiberg's offense will run better with true PGs but given the lack of them here, I don't know.
  21. I very much doubt that the NCAA is going to give Ulis back a year. I'll leave it to the reader at this point to decide if Mast is going to redshirt next year because of surgery recovery.
  22. Helpful to reference who we have G Ahron Ulis - 6'3" - SR G Rollie Worster - 6'4" - SR G Brice Williams - 6'7" - SR G Sam Hoiberg - 6'0" - JR G Gavin Griffiths - 6'8" Soph G Nick Janowski - 6'3" FR F Juwan Gary - 6'6" - SR F Rienk Mast - 6'10" - SR F Andrew Morgan 6'10" - SR F Braden Frager 6'6" - FR ------------------------------ Gary, Juwan Ahron Ulis Williams, Brice Mast, Rienk Worster, Rollie Morgan, Andrew Griffiths, Gavin Janowski, Nick Frager, Braden Seems like prioritizing guys who might be here past next season should be highly considered.
