  1. I said that Pitchford has more potential, not that he is better right now. Offers from Florida, Indiana, and Memphis. Pitchford has a much better outside shot and is a lot more athletic than CS and VJ. Skip to 2:00 to see his athleticism.
  2. I want to say this was one of Doc's recruits, but i can't remember for sure.
  3. Tory has been reclassed to 2014. Not sure why. This doesn't leave Nebraska with too many options at the PF/C for 2013. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Tory-Miller-114157
  4. I'll take Pitchford over Christan and Vander. He has way more potential than both.
  5. Nick Fuller and Tai Webster have potential to be big time players.
  6. Imagine the attendance this year if Doc was still here...
  7. Nebraska may take 5 recruits this year as well along with 2 PFs/Cs, so I doubt Vitto is going to change his mind to Nebraska given that NU is in the same recruiting situation that Wisconsin is in. This seems like a very pointless issue to discuss. I would say Nebraska has a better chance at getting Agau to change his mind than Vitto.
  8. Thought you were going to say their best player was injured... but i guess i'll take anything i can get.
  9. I wonder how good the All Doc (transfer/never made it to campus) Team would be. sg. Sallie pf standhardinger C Vander Any others?
  10. and then would Vitto bring Agau with him? No. I don't see any of this happening.
  11. -If Sergej can only get 1 minute against Southern, how many will he get in the BIG10? -The bench will be the biggest problem of this team. -I still think Biggs is making a mistake not playing. -I assume Peltz and Menke's minutes will drop when Shields comes back. hopefully he's back by the Wake game. -Talley, Gallegos, and Ubel played about as good as they can, and NU only won by 11. Not a great sign. -The true colors of this team will be shown against Valpo.
  12. I remember Doc's strategy being to run down the shot clock the entire game, not when you are up by 10 or more points. I believe that is why NU was scoring about 36 points a game last year.
  13. Henson was 6'11 though and had one of the longest wingspans in college basketball. Henson could afford to be skinny and still play inside because of how long he was. I'm not sure Aram have the length to be effective like Henson.
  14. I think NU needs to be a little more patient before offering this kid. He seems like a project and will probably have to redshirt to put on at least 20lbs. I'd rather go after Tory Miller who could play from day 1.
  15. I'm expecting Talley, Gallegos, and Parker to be shooting a lot.
  16. yep. 7 scholarship guys for the first 2 or 3 weeks. UNO could really give this team a close game. Also, nobody from the student open tryouts made the team...
  17. Not long, but the fact he has an injury before the season has started is concerning.
  18. Also Andre has a sprained ankle...
  19. so... who is the backup pg without Biggs?
  20. anyone in the 6'8 range would be nice.
  21. What day do you think we will know for sure? I really hope he plays this year. There are only 8 scholarship players that can play this year if biggs redshirts. I know this year likely will be bad, but I'd feel a lot better about NU's chances if there were 9 scholarship kids in the rotation. I do not see Biggs being much more than a solid contributor anyways. Miles has already announced that Parker is who he would start right now. I think Miles said that to give a hint to Biggs that he should play now because Parker will be the starter in the future. Taking a year off will not help Biggs because Parker will have a full year of experience after this year. Next year Biggs will have to compete with parker, webster, hawkins, and gallegos. I think Miles will play Biggs as much as he can against Midland to try and convince him to play this year.
  22. I really wish biggs would play this year. That would give NU at least a little bit of depth. guards- parker, gallegos, biggs. wings- talley, shavon, rivers big men- Andre, ubel, vucetic The team does not look that bad if you look at it that way.
