All I can add is my personal experience. I tore the meniscus in my left knee in the 7th grade in an (ill-advised) attempt to play football. Our town was so far in the boondocks that an orthopod only visited every other month so the swelling and pain had subsided by the time he arrived. My parents opted to pass on the surgery which he recommended so every year the knee would spontaneously collapse once or twice and I would limp around on a grapefruit sized joint for a week or so. I broke my left arm during one of the falls. Anyway, the knee was stable enough to let me play basketball and start my senior year (probably cost me my college career though) (just kidding). My knee gave out again in my late twenties and I broke my right arm. So I finally had an eminent orthopod "clean up the joint" in my thirties in the day before arthroscopy. It quit collapsing, but it remained bone-on-bone thereafter and the calf became 1/3 smaller than the right one. It was known as my "bad pin" as the arthritis began to bother me enough to disturb sleep. Finally in my seventies I got the necessary knee replacement and now the arthritic discomfort is tolerable and although it still doesn't haver full range of motion I have abandoned my hope of playing college ball. Thanks for bearing with this long tale of woe. Moral: Wilhelm is wise to get this fixed ASAP!

Perhaps Sam Jose State would be a good fit.

I’m an epl fan and my favorites club is losing players to the olympics as well, which is unfortunate for the club and fans like me but a no brainer for the players. You have a chance to represent your country in one of the biggest sporting events in the world that only takes place every four years and you think he should turn it down to get to preseason work outs in Lincoln? 

Shamiel Stevenson would have averaged 30 points a game if there were no charges called.

I'm more worried about Hoiberg staying after that Final Four season in 24-25.

Ranger won in overtime today and is Final Four bound! Keisei had 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Blaise Keita and Coffeyville also got an OT win and going to the Final Four. Keita had 19 points (9/10 FTs!), 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
They’re on opposite sides of the bracket, so they could meet in the championship game. That’d be pretty awesome .

You are coming across as a bit of a jackwagon. You should at least understand the rules before going down the jackwagon path.  If Thor returns it does not affect our ability to get an extra recruit.  He doesn't count against our scholarship total any longer.  Even if he did, show some appreciation for a kid that became a great leader down the stretch three years in a row for a club that badly needed one each year.  

No excuses. UNC vs. Nebraska in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Book it already.

He may or may not pick NU, but the fact that we get one of his 5 official visits is big - he easily could have visited us on an unofficial and saved the 5 officials for other schools that are farther away. Clearly, we are in the mix.

No.  Counterpoints:
 
1. Saying players leaving is "excellent news" is in poor taste.  They're college guys, not pros.  And once a Husker always a Husker.  I wasn't a fan of Shamiel's game even prior to the season starting, but I'm certainly not going to call him losing his spot on the team as "excellent."  That's similar to telling your buddy that his decision to get divorced is excellent news.  Just not the right response, man.
2. The fact that graduating seniors are eligible for an extra year in '21'-22 AND WILL NOT COUNT AGAINST THE SCHOLARSHIP LIMIT has been discussed ad nauseam.  So for Thor in particular, your comment is  incredibly ignorant in addition to being tactless.
3. Your original comment had nothing to do with signing Keon.  You could have quoted any number of other comments  that are singing Keon's praises, but you didn't.  Instead, you chose to quote the one about players being forced out the door as "excellent news."  So don't come on here and pretend that you're the guy who got offended, when your comment was clearly intended to be malicious.
