Outside of that 42-10 run to end the half, we weren't terrible.

As awful as this team has been this year, the last 12 minutes was as bad as anything yet this season. Somehow, this group continues to move the bar lower.

This is officially the poorest coached team I have ever seen.  And I have been around a long time #oldashell

I appreciate what you are saying. Ultimately, on the question of keep him or fire him after 3 years of recruiting misses, stubborn adherence to a failed scheme and losses piling up, I don’t trust him any longer. 
 
I did when he was hired based on his resume. I don’t anymore. Pretty simple for me. 
 
Now, if you want to hang and give him time to “change”, fine. Not sure why it would take 3 years for him to decide he needed to change but fair enough. My stance is the same - there’s a long way to go to earn my trust back - and I’m not holding my breath.

As much as I hate the idea of paying people to go away, it needs to happen soon and I would be in favor of doing so before the end of the season.

With the Regents looking at alcohol sales for UNL sporting events this week, the thought occurs to me that this might buy Trev some time with his Men's basketball HC decision.  If it is going to happen, the PBA is the best place to start since it is already set up for selling beer. 
 
So Trev may be looking at it thinking if he keeps Hoiberg we may have trouble selling tickets next year, but the sale of beer may offset that to some degree.  That way he can avoid the buyout problem, at least for another year.

I came to the realization yesterday that I have no emotional investment in Fred. Tim, Doc...I was emotionally invested in them to where I could give them the benefit of the doubt. Logically I could tell myself it was for the best to move on but emotionally I felt those guys were bought into this school as much as any of us.
 
It's just not there with Fred... It's just a business decision at this point and that's why for me it's not difficult at all.

Just read how small Harbaugh's buyout at Michigan is and it almost made me cry.
I was numb after the game yesterday.  That told me that apathy has set in.  For a diehard like me this a hard blow to the solar flex.  Dang.
I had a section mate leave ahead of me and she indicated her Husker relationship is the most toxic relationship she's ever been in...that kinda says it all.
