  1. Goofy guitarist on the left, booted out of the band about a year after this. Took an internship at Dunder Mifflin and stayed there for 40 years until retirement in 2013.
  2. No Place Like the Vault when he sees latest posts on this thread:
  3. This wouldn't be a terrible pickup: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/37916105/alabama-guard-jahvon-quinerly-enter-transfer-portal Quinerly, a former five-star recruit in the class of 2018, started his college career with one season at Villanova before transferring to Alabama. He averaged 12.9 points during his first campaign in Tuscaloosa, then started 27 games as a junior and averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 assists. After tearing his ACL in March 2022, Quinerly moved to the bench this past season -- but coach Nate Oats inserted him into the starting lineup for the SEC and NCAA tournaments. Over his final nine games, he averaged 14.4 points and 4.0 assists, shooting nearly 38% from 3-point range.
  4. It's on the SNF sound track, though. It was used in a scene that was cut from the film, according to Mr. Wikipedia.
  5. Howard has an elite 8 and a sweet 16 and hasn't had a losing season. Maybe their trajectories are just converging, rather than passing.
  6. Rather than start a new thread, I'll post BIG NBA draft picks here: 11. Magic draft Jett Howard (Michigan) 15. Hawks draft Kobe Bufkin (Michigan) 17. Lakers draft Jalen Hood-Schifino (Indiana) 23. Blazers draft Kris Murray (Iowa) 28. Jazz draft Brice Sensabaugh (Ohio State) 32. Pacers draft Jalen Pickett (Penn State)– Traded to Nuggets 46. Hawks draft Seth Lundy (Penn State) 57. Wizards draft Trayce Jackson-Davis (Indiana) – Reportedly traded to the Warriors Pretty decent representation for the league. I'm glad they're all gone.
  7. You didn't have to do that, I had just sitting around thinking how clever I'd be with that tomorrow. I'll still think I'm clever regardless.
  8. I would guess the information was from a report by the arresting officers. Their field test was not preliminary. "Preliminary" is probably reporter speak to say further investigation is likely, should the person arrested contest the charge.
  9. Surprised, figured he'd end up at a Cal State school.
  10. I always do the Torvik rostercast to see how a potential newcomer would affect our rating. For some reason, we drop from 45 to 51 with Mongolian Mike. Strange.
  11. The key for me is my aging hands to not accidentally allow 2 drips of bitters into the mix. One dash takes the sweetness down a notch perfectly, 2 makes it a little, well, bitter.
  12. I think your commas have turned an essential clause into a nonessential clause. Tsk, tsk.
  13. Well, it was supposed to be time to revisit an old post, and now it's revisited a couple.

  15. Funny thing, the wings used to be the worst part of the chicken and the lowest priced. Then somebody (Buffalo ) came up with a way to make them appealing, and the demand pushed the price up. Same thing happened with brisket. Used to be the trashiest cut of beef.
  16. All of these conference moves just reinforce the fact that college football has nothing to do with colleges. It's a professional sports league that needs teams in the biggest markets (or biggest alumni fan bases). Young fans have less connection with the university than they do with cool gear, the top players and the best programs. College basketball is more like it used to be than football, but it's getting dragged along.
  17. Eemeli Yalaho spelled backwards is Ohalay Ilemee. I should have brought that up before.
