My worry is what we’ve seen at Minnesota and Louisville in the past.  Drugs, hookers, strip clubs, coeds, donors wives or other shady shit like that.  But I love mysteries, horror and comic books so my mind tends to wander to the dark side right away.

That could very well be, but if I’m not mistaken it went into effect with this last class, so it would have to be for one of his previous two classes, right?  At least logically that would make sense. As far as Matt A goes...his record screamed suspect, but at the same time he's a young dude with a young family in an industry that semi encourages habitual line stepping.  

 

I'm starting to hate everything about college sports.   

This was my train of thought as well, guys like Sean miller, will wade and Bruce pearl have all done terrible recruiting violations and basically got slaps on the wrist.  Miller coached for 4 more years after they had him on tape paying a dude.  I’m not saying we didn’t do anything wrong, but the NCAA has shown again and again when it comes to rule enforcement they don’t really do much.  Also, with NIL now being a thing would it mean it has to be an infraction that isn’t money related?  That’s what scares me more than paying kids or buying them shoes or something.  I suppose if it’s true time will tell.

6-1 final.  The owls play for the championship next Saturday at 4.  I’m bummed I can’t go but will be a great time!!!

The last 20 years my teams have mostly been terrible…lots of pain and heartbreak.  At least my eagles got one championship in an otherwise desolate landscape of football, baseball, basketball and soccer.  

Whelp…can’t wait for Bolt ball in the spring.  I’m semi-kidding but that was ugly, little ball movement, poor rebounding, not finding open shooters…when we did not hitting open shots.  Gross.

Can we maybe get this Charlie masters kid as a walk-on?  I’ve been impressed with that kid, turns on the jets when he dribbles and has passed, shot and played defense well.

He was onside, Zusi doesn’t step up as the bicycle kick comes in and it’s slotted home.  I didn’t see the handball so I can’t give an opinion on that.

And there's the possibility (high probability nowadays) that at least one of the young guys either won't be satisfied with playing time and will choose to leave, or the coaches will want to upgrade and it will be a "mutual decision". 

Denim Dawson said in an interview there would be an opportunity for early playing time next year because we'll be losing at least 6 players off this year's roster. The coaches told him something.

Especially because speculation on this site has us losing anywhere from 6-9 haha.  We won’t be over limit.  

After last nights result Union Omaha is the regular season champs (supporters shield) and has #1 seed for the playoffs locked up.  First home playoff game is at 4 on November 13.  Tickets are incredibly reasonable, need two wins to lift the trophy!!!

To be fair the lineup we saw tonight will be about 85-90% of what we’ll see for our first World Cup match I think.  Substitute pulisic and Reyna and brooks and almost everyone else will stay the same.  Goalie is a toss up though and unfortunately with these three games in short succession along with major travel you have to sometimes do some load management and play some guys less and some guys more.  We saw that with Aaronson and weah playing lots of minutes the last two games due to the absence of pulisic and Reyna.
