For what it's worth. I was talking with a Creighton coach the other day and he said Morrow will be a carbon copy of David Rivers.  Now, this could be a Creighton coach talking just to talk, but I thought it was interesting.  And this coach is a nice guy/individual, so I do not believe he was talking trash on some of our recruits.

Rivers isn't a bad player, but I'm hoping Morrow is better than him.

#GATA got a reaction from lang in Nebraska isn't a good fit for Tai's skillset
Agree.  I'm very happy that we have people coming out to support the team.  However, what I question is how some people have a completely skewed idea on what a college player should look like on the court.  We are not Kentucky or a top tier program.  Be glad that we are building something here in Lincoln.  Do not take shots at a college kid who is not playing the greatest.  Tai is going to be okay, and he will not transfer.  Some people in the state need to get a grip on these thoughts because they sound ignorant.

I would disagree about having to reach the tourney final in order to be a bubble team.  You pessimistic attitude is drowning this message board, my friend.

Had a casual talk in the Railyard with a guy before the game on Saturday.  The subject of Tai came up, and I said that after watching him against Minnesota, he looked like a different, confident player. This guy was not having it and said Tai is for sure leaving after this year.  I shook my head, told him Tai would have a great game, and then I walked away.  I would've loved to seen the dude after the game to buy him a beer.

I do think Tai is somewhat understanding it more.  His confidence and ball handling have improved so much since the beginning of the season, and I really thought that he started to show signs of digging himself from the proverbial grave against Minnesota.  Keep it rolling.

Was the loss bad?  Sure, but any loss in the eye's of Nebraska fans is bad.  For some reason, a lot of people in this state have the mentality that a team has to go undefeated or lose very few games to be good.  Now, I am not calling out the people of this great state; I am a lifer.  However, I have seen this mentality in every sport at every age level.  I've played basketball in high school and college, and I coach the sport too, so I have seen it from many different angles.  There are so many people out there that tense up and go nuts after a loss.  Some teams need to take their lumps at the beginning of the season and recover.  It will build character.  I'm not saying every person has this ideology.  However, some Nebraskans need to see things from a different point of view on sports in general, rather than looking at it from a football perspective.  Basketball, even baseball, is a completely different beast.  The season is long and grueling and things are not always going to go our way.  This team will find "IT" again, but can we expect a few more bumps in the road? Absolutely.

Only way he leaves, in my opinion, is if an NBA team comes calling; otherwise, he is here to stay.  He seems like a guy that would like the spotlight of the NBA. However, I don't see that happening for some time.  Needs to prove himself before those NBA execs come calling.

I don't think Creighton has much of a fanbase west of Gretna.

That miniature dachshund head is a staple at these games.  Love seeing that thing for every home game.  They need to have that thing attached to the Wiener Schlinger which, by the way, upsets me that it has not been used this year.  Hopefully that dachshund continues to "hound" the opponents.  (Yes, PUN intended)

Very foolish if they do not start selling beer.  Missed opportunity for A LOT of revenue.  Kegs are cheap to buy in bulk.  Add in a price tag of 7 bucks a beer; it's pretty stupid of the University of Nebraska to not allow sales of alcohol.  We need to stop living in the past.  T.O. needs to have his hands completely out of everything with the athletic department before we see sales of alcohol happen. This is just my opinion which I will probably be blasted for.  Good game yesterday though.  Would've been nice to have a refreshing beer to enjoy while watching.
