I had to double take when I saw they made 14 there pointers. Did we ever make that many 3’s in a game while he was here?

Trey missing the two inside a minute was the biggest back breaker. If he even hits 1 it's a two possession game and we are likely talking about how we were lucky to squeak this one out instead of it being a demoralizing loss.

Bryce/Trey’s podcast just lost 50% of their listeners. For a team that had/has NCAA hopes that’s going to look really ugly on the ole resume.

That’s the majority of the time. But I’ll always have you stalking me so I have that going for me.

For my mental well being that may have to be the case. May just have to countdown to baseball season.

Season feels over before it even began. If you can’t rebound you will get eaten alive in the Big Ten. Just a disaster of a loss.

Under a restructured contract. I’m guessing that was one of Trev’s stipulations. Thus, it will likely be much much cheaper to fire him next year assuming he continues to lose.

I can’t see any argument for Trev to retain him. Outside of boosters not ponying up for the buyout. Lucky for Trev, as every Saturday goes by this is becoming a very easy decision. At this point Frost is just shoveling dirt on the grave of the football program. Allow him to lead the program any longer and he may complete the process of turning Nebraska into Kansas football.

You can throw any prognostications out the window with Frost. Fans have done this every year…”we should beat Illinois”…”we should beat Colorado” yet…Frost and his players find a way to lose. The worry shouldn’t be Frost lowering the bar. That’s already happened. The bigger worry with keeping Frost is recruits do not want to play for him at this point. This years class is very ugly and barring a major turnaround next year the next class will be bad as well. Just digging a deeper hole for the next coach at this point.

I have no idea…I was all in on Frost and that has turned out to be a disaster. I think Trev is probably more trustworthy finding a decent coach than many of our past AD’s. The job is still attractive but we aren’t going to be getting any proven P5 coaches that are currently winning to leave their current job id imagine. I also don’t think Frost is fired this year despite him racking up the losses again.

Yes, but there are many dolts in this fanbase that continue to give Frost a pass because of who he was as a player. 100% if he was some outsider the majority would want him gone. We have seen enough. The same things continue to plague his teams over and over and over. There is no sign of it changing or getting better. He had his chance to switch up the staff and didn’t. His head should be on the chopping block and I can only hope Trev can find the money to send him packing and hire a quality coach.

Frost has a very large buyout. Kudos to him for working that out despite being a very average to bad coach. The question is….can Trev afford not to fire him at this point? There really is no excuse keeping him another year outside of the buyout money Nebraska would owe him.

Matt Campbell is not coming here unfortunately. I’m not even sure we could afford it with his and Frost’s buyout. Frost had the opportunity to shake up his staff last winter and chose not to. Doubt he gets a pass now. On top of that, I think it’s pretty clear he’s the issue. It doesn’t help that there are many rumors circling the program about off field issues.

Good news is that Trev’s job became a whole lot easier. It use to be “oh man…I’d hate to be the guy who might have to fire Scott Frost.” Now it’s the exact opposite

Stadium is going to be dead next week. If this isn’t the final nail of the Frost era that might be it.

Only if Frost turns around the football program which looks like a serious pipe dream at this point. If Pollard is hired I can’t imagine Frost will be feeling all warm and fuzzy about his future. If Stewart is hired he may have a longer leash moving forward.
