  1. ...or he was falling on the sword to show that he isn't an energy vampire.. Sorry Ron..Tom isn't coming back. His reign is over. Time to get over it. I see you were able to escape the BRB and the Hate TO fan club. I know you hate him since he ran off your hero Peddy(proof that an AD can do real damage to an athletic dept) and Cally( whom the BRB folk wanted given one more year).Do you really want to play this game? . I have no idea what you're talking about in regards to Pederson or Callahan. Not sure what BRB is either. Hell, I don't even hate Tom Osborne. He is Nebraska football. I don't agree with everything he did as AD but I also don't wear blinders like you. I also realize that Eichorst doesn't have a chance with you and your group because Perlman didn't allow Osborne to sign off on his hire. Back to twitter fights Ron...I'm surprised it took me this long to put it together. The fail is strong in this thread by you Ronhusk15.
  2. 1 & 2 You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what "Eichorst issue" means. I got additional information from another party.3. Analogy's escape you. Got it. This was about all your post deserved. This all makes sense now. You are ronhusk15! I've never put two and two together. I'd say Brian Rosenthal handled you just fine on twitter. Let's be real, Eichorst doesn't have a chance with this group because he is not Tom Osborne. That's what it boils down to.

  4. Your info on him is incorrect. He's about as knowledgeable as a booster as it gets and while opinionated, he doesn't make up information. I would say better than 95% of the info Harold posts becomes public almost exactly as he states it, and often days or weeks before we read about. He was on Damon's show a month ago when they did the round table and he's also the force that helped organize the air fleet for the coaches about two years ago. So he's not some make believe wana be like you see at the RSS. There is a growing list of things SE is doing that are making him unpopular because they are hurting our athletic department and it's two major sports. Harold has been one of several folks over there discussing those things. Take this with a grain of salt. Harold is the ring leader for the tradition coalition thus anybody and everybody that doesn't agree or include Tom Osborne 100% is dead wrong on all accounts! Harold is a hack.
  5. Ugh. Honestly, depending on the injury this may not be such a bad thing for us. May keep other programs from offering as I think he's on the verge of getting some other high major offers.
  6. Just remember: We're the ones who are delusional. Nor do I ever remember anyone claiming Biggs was the savior of NU basketball. Little brother syndrome rears it's ugly head again. Biggs talent will be missed but he's not so good where Miles can overlook the team and personal issues that come with him. We will have to deal with it this year, hopefully Miles can sign a quality player for next year. A young team has just became younger.
  7. Just about everyone who played contributed...nobody really had a "bad" game. I'd still like to see some more minutes out of Rivers. He is never going to light up the stat sheet but I think his rebounding and athleticism on defense is a nice change of pace. Should would could...but if he was in at the end vs PSU im not so sure they get all those offensive boards. His block today was pretty sick. Kudos to Benny also for stepping up and hitting a few jumpers. I hope that continues.
  8. I like how Miles has handled Biggs thus far with his off the court issues...if this is the reason...I hope it's just another game suspension and running the hell out of him. No one player is above the team but if Biggs can get his head screwed on right he can be a big piece to the puzzle the remainder of the year and even more so next year.
  9. Solid win. Minnesota never stopped fighting and neither did we. Great game by Petteway. If Biggs is done for we are going to need a few more of those out of him.
  10. Coaching staff put together a very good defensive gameplan. Let's widen this lead.
  11. Solid half for the Huskers. Refs aren't doing us any favors either.
  12. . You are reading what you want to read. I never said this. I did say I'm not confident he will ever be that type of player. 1. Will he be here in a few years? 2. Just driving the lane is not going to get it done. He has to develop a jump shot. Do that and his game will improve dramatically.
  13. Webster has played for about half a season and you're ready to throw him out? He had a bad game as is typical for a freshmanThrow him out? Not at all. I'm hoping he sticks around all four years. I'm just not anywhere near confident he will turn out to be the player we were hoping he would be. We absolutely need another PG in this program. Someone that can play right away. You can make that statement with confidence after a half season...for a freshman? Yes I can, I can say I'm not confident that Webster will be the player we all expected him to be. AKA a top 25-50 recruit. By all means, counter my argument. I think he has some very good potential but when I think top 25-50 recruit I think of a prospect that should eventually be all Big Ten. Tai has quite of bit of work to do to get to that level If you are being honest. Like I said I love his size at that position but you can't teach quickness. He needs to live in the gym this summer and work on his jump shot and ball handling.
  14. Uh-oh...pet peeve alert...Don't write off the freshman half way through his freshman season... Yeah, really. Webster is the best freshman PG we've seen around here in a LOOOOONG time. Based on what exactly? Tai Webster or our previous coaches crappy recruiting? He has good size for a PG but it appears he lack quickness at that position and he currently has zero to no outside game. And, he struggles at the charity stripe. He is solid at finishing when he decides to get into the lane but his handles right now are sub par IMO. He has lots of room for improvement but does he have the making of the top 50 recruit we were told he was? I'm not seeing it. He can be a solid contributor down the road but signing a solid JUCO pg will go a long ways for this team right now.

  17. Miles love affair for Parker needs to stop. As long as guys with the talent level of Parker are getting meaningful minutes we should get use to Miles struggling in the Big ten. Caught Davison and Pavelka talking about how he received the ball in the corner twice and didn't shoot both times. If he's making them in practice, he should shot. We have plenty of guys who miss shots...if he's not going to take it he's simply a liability on this team. When he was in PSU didn't even bother to guard him. They dared him to shoot it and he was afraid to. That's fine if he's our best on ball defender. But his defense is not so great to where it makes up for him being a complete no show on offense. It appears we are "one big" and one point guard away. Hopefully we can land a solid JUCO point guard as I'm not confident Webter will ever be the man and we know what we are getting with Parker.

  19. Same ole Nebrasketball tonight. We were handed the game on a platter and we do nothing with it. This team looked like it didn't know how to rebound, break a press, or beat a zone.
  20. Miles couldn't get wins on the road in the MW. Will be even tougher in the Big Ten. His team slept walk thru the night. Same ole Nebrasketball
