Haven't seen that anywhere....but they only have 1 schollie available. ...and we only had one available a couple of weeks ago, too... True, but who do they cut loose? I don't anticipate any RS would transfer after their first year. Does their ginger center leave? Probably the only candidate as he's mediocre...but hes also their only backup to Artino next year. Trey's buddy seems to be putting up some quality numbers...but I'm not sure if we sign Trey if they are a package deal Not saying that Groselle would transfer, but Zach Hanson will be Artino's back up next year, Groselle third in line. Then who plays PF position for you next year? And who is their backup?

Here is that same page last week They're a legit site but you don't really get page hits if you're ratings stay the same all the time. Show me another site that lists Petteway being drafted at all and I'll hop right on that bandwagon. I don't buy that he is first round worthy right now....he has been pretty damn good but I think he still has alot to work on. Nor do I think leaving this year has even crossed his mind. I do think it is something to watch though if he continues his strong play down the stretch against some good teams. I don't think we will have to worry about it this year....but next year? Maybe. Either way, it feels good to have a player who some outside of Nebraska thinks has NBA potential. Next week he could fall off the board....but people are starting to recognize that he's a player. Good for NU, good for Terran.

Funny how we've gone from "he's a selfish player, coach needs to sit him" to "what are we going to do if he leaves early for the NBA?" We need more games to watch/dissect. Off days are brutal for our psyche. Should we lock this thread? That's usually how it works when you don't like a thread right? Him being projected to be drafted wasn't made up on this board. It seems that your MO is to inject FUD into the discussion more often than not. Why you feel the need to do that I don't know, but if you expect to get away with stirring up the pot then you should be able to take getting called out on it. By no means do I think this thread should get locked. But I do think we have more important things to worry about or discuss on here. Just my opinion though, go ahead and wring your hands about losing Petteway early to the NBA. Stirring up what pot exactly? Doesn't that seem odd to you...that some draft site would think he's a first round draft pick before the people who watch him the most? Not at all considering for years this site has been dedicated to scouting and projecting players to the NBA draft. Oh, and their scouting report of Petteway appears to be pretty solid also. This isn't one guy running a garbage site...this is a site that pays scouts and a site that has direct contacts to NBA scouts. I haven't seen any other mock drafts with him being mentioned so I think he will be in Red next year....but if he finishes with a bang you never know.

Stuff happens. No, but I did think one or two transfers was a high possbility after the season ended. But that's just wishful thinking without any real evidence to base that off of. In fact, the evidence would probably indicate the opposite is more likely. As Doc always said, that stuff tends to work itself out. Not wishful thinking at all. Before Biggs getting kicked off you are right..we had one schollie available. Yet Tim Miles said how many times we were just one big away? But he was still recruiting guards and forwards? Maybe he thinks Hammonds can fill that void starting next year...now that I would say is wishful thinking. Oh and add those comments to go with his thoughts on Serj? Doesn't take much to see that Serj is on the chopping block. He may very well be here next year thanks to Biggs, but before that it appeared we would over sign this year.

20 PTS and 9 Boards a game. But he isnt the biggest big man...6'8 215. Not sure if he fits the mold we are looking for. That's why I think if they really are a package deal we don't be getting Trey.

He posted something on twitter in regards to him and Willie Atwood will be going to the same school. As far as I know we aren't recruiting Atwood so that may hurt our changes with Trey. I believe Iowa is looking at his buddy though.

This. I can't remember the poster, but some mentioned that they either saw him practice or had a source that said he was an absolute baller, but I don't think anyone could have expected this. I'm ashamed to say that he was the one addition I wasn't all that geeked about. Obviously I was as wrong as it gets. The knock on him from some was that he struggled to shoot the ball, but that he could take it to the rack. I don't doubt that maybe that was true at some point...but I think he has proven when he is on...he is on and can make any shot on the court. If he keeps improving...and I have no doubt that he will with the effort he gives off the court.......he will be scary good next year and his senior year.

We went to zone in the first half and Indiana shredded it. Same thing to start the second half. Miles stuck with it down the stretch and it worked. He worked crean in the second half.

What a come back for this team! Could have given up when we were struggling. Kudos to the fans and players/coaches. All were huge in tonight's win!
