I hope I'm dead wrong, but I just can't see this team making the NCAA tournament. 
 
You can't lose every conference road game and get in. They'd basically have to win out at home and that is going to be extremely tough to do.  There are some winnable road games, but what has this team showed us that will change?

I know it’s only two losses but I’m done with this team and particularly the coach. That was as bad of a loss as I can remember.  Let them all find their own way back to nebraska. Been a fan for 30 some years and this is as pissed as I can remember being. Just a Shitshow out there!!!  No excuses for not rebounding no heart no hustle no teamwork. This system fred says does that doesn’t need a PG…..  Ha. My ass it doesn’t.  I mean if you want to lose ya sure it doesn’t need no PG!!  Our guard play is just killing us!!  See ya in April for the coaching search!✌️

Not that it really matters, but what are the odds we can get the trophy reputation icon changed from "thanks" to "you win?"
 
I think a thumbs up works better for "thanks." A trophy is earned for something clever on a message board.

Again, it doesn't really matter, but...

It is odd how much attention is given to someone who hasn't been our coach for five years, now coaching a Mountain West school.

I wouldn't be shocked to see CJ start, especially since Gary has been hurt. But Gary was a starter last year and a big part of the identity of the team. 
 
I could see CJ being the 6th man and his versatility being utilized 

My guess on starters are 
 
1. Coleman
2. Keisei
3. Williams
4. Gary
5. Mast

I'm a huge fan of Allick, but he's not starting of Gary

Gary's stats were racked up against SEC and Big Ten level competition
 
Allick's were against WAC, Summit League and MWC.

He needs to grow the hair a little more.  And he'll only be 23 next season.  Also, I have no idea if he wants to start a trucking company.

Add me to this camp. Fred has shown that he recognized his plan wasn't working and shifted philosophy to something that seemed to be working until injuries derailed the season. That allow should warrant another year to see if he can build on this change.

If I'm not mistaken, Griesel was already committed when Baylor was making his decision.

Not only are they studs on the court, but great people too

Meaning taking local players who had a lot of potential and that other programs in similar conferences weren't interested in. Brady Heiman. Arop. Let's be real. He went to South Dakota State. We missed on him, but so did everybody else. Just like Grisel, he needed to go to a lower D1 school to develop. Who knows if he would have developed into the player he is now here at Nebraska.
