Does it really matter? These guys were on a team that won 7 games and honestly they may have potential, but arent game changers. If this was a bubble team than maybe but at this point its no loss in my opionion.

I agree Akol is nothing more than a role player. At the same time you have 13 schlorships. You arent going to have 13 players who are 4* players and studs competing. You play 8-9 players barring injuries. Having a role player like Arop isnt a bad thing if he realizes he isnt playing 10 or more mins a game or not at all. Having a roster loaded will just result in transfers anyway with limited playing time. You only need 2-3 studs to turn this around with role players. If Akol stays and accepts his role it wouldnt be a bad thing consodering all the new players and new ones coming in

If he can lean up, put on more muscle, and work on explosiveness and jumping he can be very solid.

Did anyone watch the presser of Thor prior to Maryland? There was a question of him guarding Walker in practice. Very awkward exchange and reactin from Thor. I assume Walker was right there when the question was asked.

Not at all. Im just saying you shouldnt expect more out of them other than to be role players. 5-10 mins off the bench with maybe more due to foul trouble or injuries. You need those type of players on the roster. Im only saying that just cause they are from here doesnt mean they deserve more playing time cause of the perceived they care more.

I think it will age well. Neither was highly recruited. If either is more than a role player then that is an issue. And never said they wouldnt amount to anything. Your words, not mine.

Never said they were, technically Charlie was. Its just the way people act about these players that are role players, who arent as talented, yet they want them to play more. Look at the ovation Charlie got being introduced in the starting lineup at the Penn St game and anytime he made a play. Yeah its exciting and good for them but if thats what this program relies on then shut it down. Im only saying that playing NE kids wont lead to success and people freak out over walkons on the fb team cause they are from here. I know Im in the minority with this thought probably, but I want this thing to work and work the right way with Fred.

Whats to say they care more than anyone else? They are all competitors no matter where they are from and pretty sure they all want to win. Dont give me they care more cause they are from here. Thats a fallacy created by husker fans cause some walk on fb players had some success. I want all players to care and play hard not just cause they are from here. To think the players from NE have more heart is outrageous. Give me the best players who help the team compete and win anyday over an in-state player.

Im tired of hearing the NE guy take. Whether its fb with walk ons on people saying "he's from here and plays hard, play him." Get the best players and play them. Yeah Charlie plays hard but skills lack as well as Akol's and are more a liability at this point. Why get blown out more cause the NE guy "gets it" or plays hard. Sure I'll catch flack for this but lets be honest, these are role players that realistically in a right situation should be lucky to get 5-10 mins a game

I dont think Cheatham gets fouled at all. The dude goes at the rim and falls down 90% off the time on his own. Seriously, go watch his drives at the rim. Rarely does he stay upright and isnt getting fouled. Good for him to attack against bigs though. Dont go down the ref hole.

This year has been rough for the games i havent been able to go to. Last year i more than made my season ticket costs back in about 4 games. Stubhub works great.
