I wonder if everyone was healthy? Potts and Moriarty didn't get a ton of minutes. Stewart hardly played.

Jaz went through the post game lines. I think she was moving OK. Hard to tell from the camera angle.

Just my 2 cents. I like the thought. But, not sure we have the personnel for that. Do we have that type of speed, quickness, athleticism across the roster? I think we could go 6 or 7 deep, not sure how much further. And, keep AM back in the paint if we give it a try. Not sure we can afford her in foul trouble. Pressure for periods of time, yes. Prolonged? I think we would need to build a roster for that. Getting AW back would be a good start.

I read that. I wonder how the crowd will react to Clark because of the Ohio State postgame collision/flop? I could see the students chanting 'flop' if the opportunity presents itself.

If the stats I looked at are up to date, they have 6 players averaging in double figures. We've had some success with a zone lately. Maybe we will go that route? Sure hope Markowski keeps out of foul trouble.

If the stats are flawed for not giving defensive contributions fair weight, how is a larger sample better? Is anyone questioning Amy for starting and playing Krull so many minutes? Someone should point out her efficiency ratings (sarcasm, sorry). Like any stats, +/-, efficiency, or a basic boxscore, they don't tell the entire story. By the way, I do enjoy your opinions. Replies are thought out, civil, and not aggressive like some on this site.
-
You yourself said efficiency stats were offense leaning. Also, what does a seasonal average have to do with this game? What did they score this game? What did the other starters score this game?
-
Yet, we outscored Minnesota when they were on the floor. How do you explain that?
-
Yet, looking at the +/- boxscore, Krull had the best + score on the team. Moriarty also had an excellent + score. We did well when they were on the floor. Defense matters too. What I wouldn't give for another Nicea Eliely or Hailie Sample.

Agree. Would you identify which posts in this thread are calling for the removal of Amy Williams? "Sure hard to keep you guys happy" or "you guys just like to bitch" type comments are painted with such a broad brush, one doesn't know who they are aimed at. If I post an opinion you don't agree (I'm sure I often do), please reply to me. I'm OK with that.
-
The forum is designed for opinions. Some are more critical than others. Regarding being critical, the quotes below are yours, just a few games ago. And, I agreed with your posts. "What the hell isn going on with Williams substitutions. I have never seen such bullshit in my life." "This was one of the most ill prepared games that I have seen us play. That's on Amy."

I think Trev is better at his job than Pederson, Eichorst (fired Yori, hired Amy), or Moos. Not sure why you would think Nebraska isn't an attractive job for a top shelf WBB head coach. They play in the B1G. As mentioned above, with the addition of the new schools, they will be among the elite WBB conferences (maybe the best). With a supportive AD and devoted fanbase, the sky is the limit. I'm not seeing anyone posting 'Fire Amy Now'. I'm not advocating fire Amy now. I'm hoping she rises to the challenge. But, if she doesn't, Trev will have options.
-
I too think competing for B1G championships is doable. Not remotely easy, but possible. If Amy is ever going to rise to the top, the next couple of years is an opportunity. Players like Prince don't happen often. If she can recruit at a higher level, now is the time to show it. If her assistants can 'up' their games, show it. The entire staff needs to take it up a notch. Our athletic department is supposed to be supported by one of the better NIL organizations. Time to show it. OR, maybe middle of the pack, some years a bit higher. is acceptable to Trev and the bulk of the fan base. I haven't a clue. But, I will be cheering them on!
