  1. I'm not sure about that. Would still love two high level transfers
  2. I like that 9 man rotation. I feel good about it. Only thing I think it needs is a guy that can play time at the 5 in case Blaise can't stay healthy.
  3. Yeah, I'm ready to know the team we're gonna roll into season with so I can start convincing myself on the many reasons why this is the team that's going dancing and gets us our first tourny win
  4. I guess I'm in the minority here. I don't really care we missed on him. After having a year with a Nebraska kid that bleeds Huskers red I don't really have a palate for Nebraska kids that have to be coaxed here.
  5. Had a medically diagnosed high ankle sprain once. Put me out of commission from anything other than a light jog for a good seven - nine months. And this was when I was a much younger man. At one of my appt the MD was like yeah these are brutal. Often times if its a clean break instead of this kind of sprain people heal way fast than these. Gee, thanks for the info Doc . Not sure the truth of that but I felt he could have kept that little tidbit to himself.
  6. Huh. I had never considered this. This is a very interesting argument. Gonna have to ponder on it a bit. Initial thought is this argument becomes diminished the lower class of school you go. A nice thought exercise for the day.
  7. I can't really comment on the sports situation in Nebraska. One, my oldest boy is just under 3 and the other boy will make his debut in the next week or two. Two, I moved out of the state a little over a decade ago. What I do want to add kinda pertains to @Navin R. Johnson comment. I sure hope it doesn't go that way. I grew up in Crete and sports was an integral part of my youth. Always planned on gently nudging my children toward sports. But I'll tell you what, I am really turned off by the way youth sports go out here (San Diego). We were the last in my group of friends to have children so we've had an outside view of their kids in sports. I can tell you I don't like the view.
  8. I'm here to drink some beer and make it rain...and I'm all out of beer!
  9. Isn't this a legal gray area if you don't stand to profit? Could be considered art? I know there is a case with Jack Daniels vs a dog toy that bears resemblance to a JD bottle before the Supreme Court right now. Edit to add - plus if they sued it would put eyes on the fact some randos on a fan site came up with a better idea
  10. Seriously, that the athletic department did not seek counsel from HHC members on the design of the "new" Herbie as he pertains to basketball is proving to be a significant misstep
  11. Damn! Norm dropping hot takes this A.M.
  12. I highly doubt it, but I'm gonna shoot my shot
  13. I have legitimately been thinking about sending it over to the athletic dept's general email like guys, come on, get it together.
  14. Fantastic! I love it! The original overall clad farmer will always be the best in my book, but this is a close 2nd. I hated polo/buttoned up shirt Herbie. Just lame. Still don’t know how I feel about Lil Red
  15. 8 feet!?! That's one hell of a growth spurt. I mean we have to completly retool our offense with that kind of height! Iowa (What the hell is a Hawkeye? They must mean something else) Hurricanes.
  16. Whoa whoa whoa buddy... I've been on the Tominaga Express hype train since day 1!
  17. Also as a point of order I would like to add to the HHC annals ”Coach is getting on a plane, but before he boarded... " as lexicon that signifies near certainty.
