Right when this World Cup 3rd Place match ends I’ll surely tune in. I know Iceland also has a player who’ll be playing at SLU this upcoming year. Serbia will be tough, but I’m definitely interested to see Thor do his thing for his country. ??

When the best AAU program in the state, who was Home to the two NBA draftees you are referring to, as well as Shereef, is ran by a Creighton homer, who I have been told by multiple people in and around Metro basketball has said that he “would never let any of his kids go to Nebraska.” Let’s just say it doesn’t help. Even if we offered and tried to pursue kids from Omaha, it’s an uphill battle from the start because we are considered an afterthought by a few coaches and basketball people in this city.

I don't agree that they folded last year.  They won 7 of their last 10.  Yes, they got curbstomped by Michigan in the BTT, but turns out that was a red-hot Michigan team.  Then they lost AT MissSt in the NIT.  Turns out MissSt was pretty good, too.
 
The year before that, they folded.  Lost 8 of their last 10, including a 5-game losing streak to wrap things up.  That team was very young and had a player or two who quit.  And I'm talking before they officially transferred.
 
We're going into this season with some seasoned veterans.  Not only is this one of our most talented teams, it's also one of our most experienced.

If Nana figures out how to use the athletic blessings he has acquired and guard someone, he will definitely see the court, particularly because he can be an elite 3pt shooter on offense.  I've been hearing good things on this front.  
 
I like Thor, but I'm not a believer in his athleticism yet.  Hopefully he's put some work in gaining some muscle.  He definitely has the savvy/IQ for D1.  
 
It probably comes down to which one of these two won't be liability on defense.  

Amir will definitely see minutes, then whoever is better between Nana/Thor.

From what I've heard, Lee must have showed up at Brady's best workout of the summer because he's been struggling mightily against Roby, Copeland and Borchardt. I'd say he probably still needs that redshirt year.

Nicole Cousins?  I thought I heard Edwards was dating someone out there, speculation that the break up of the relationship was related to him leaving.  Coulda been local medias biggest power couple since Ken Siemeck and Deb Collins.  Or Ken Hambleton and Ryley Jane.  Or Colby Mach and an EIB fleshlight.

Your scenario explains certain Omaha people liking Creighton hoops     Not the hate and d-bag actions toward  Husker hoops, when they choose to support the home state football team.     Screw the sweater vests; got no use for 'em.    My favorite basketball team other than the Huskers is whoever plays Creighton, and usually whoever plays Iowa.  

Not sure I would piss on grant Gibbs if he was on fire.

Unless he is counting his original offer, (which was for the class of 2018 I guess), then I don't think he does. Will be pretty surprised if he isn't at SDSU. The Mountain West is about to be full of Nebraska kids and Nebraska connections next season. 

New to the forum and have only been following Husker basketball since Doc Sadler’s final year (my freshman year @ UNL).
 
Anyways, I am not very excited about Heimann or Davis (they are both going to take quite a bit of work), but I think Amir Harris will play next year. I live in Baltimore and coach Jv basketball at a small school and the schools Amir went to are top flight. Not sure why he flew so far under the radar. May just be because he committed and people backed off.
