Few things
1. Would those guys have become the players they did if they came here and ended on the bench instead of immediate playing time?
2. For every guy you can come up with, I can probably come up with 2+ guys that didn't pan out
3. Mike Daum isn't eligible for 'why didn't Nebraska recruit this Nebraska guy' threads because his coaches at SDSU spent the first year thinking they made a mistake offering him a scholarship
 
Otherwise, Matt A wasn't offering any of these guys because Rivals didn't give them enough stars. Miles whiffed on Tonje. It would seem that things have changed as we have Jacobsen here and have 2 offers to 2025 guys ATM.

If you need to compare Ulis to Sallis, sorry but Sallis is the better player.  Now, if you're talking playing a guy at the point, Ulis is a point whereas Sallis would be a guy you're trying to turn into a point.
 
Ullis is a solid veteran get and a guy who's played in the B1G for 3 years on a team like Iowa where he was used to moving the ball around.  Not sure if there is a very high ceiling but their is a high floor in being a plug-in 20+ minute a game guy at point, a position of need.

Seems like Jaz Shelly showed how it's possible for an international student to receive NIL and that the clearest path to the NBA is by playing here in the states.
 
Assume he will declare for the draft with the ability to return to school and we'll be waiting a while on his decision.  Been hearing favorable things about him returning to Nebraska here in the last 30 seconds 😀

Wake Forest was one of the 12 teams we finished second to in Parker Friedrickson's various recruitments.  

No idea if we land Sallis but worth noting we've gone from not in his Top 10 out of HS to one of the lead contenders. Sort of reminds you that even when you don't sign guys the first time there is often a second or even third chance.
