  1. Is he still leaning towards Minnesota? He did drop his Top 5 right after getting his Gopher offer and now he wants to commit. Anybody know anything?
  2. Just posted on twitter he will have a commitment to announce tomorrow
  3. Is this how the kids would summarize the happenings of today. With one of them internet memes
  4. I see Nana as this team's equivalent of Jeriah Horne. He'll be a spot up shooter, and if his shot is going in, he'll stay on the floor. If not, he'll get buried. At least that's how I see it. Just because someone is a great player in high school doesn't make them the same type of player in college. Adjusting to the college game takes time. Some adjust quicker, some take more time to adjust
  5. http://three-man-weave.com/3mw/2017/9/14/big-ten-preview-2017-18 Found this over on Reddit from Three Man Weave. Has us projected to finish 13th in the conference and says there is too much uncertainty to see us anywhere above 12th. Also says that "Nebraska is one of those teams that is sure to notch a few big time wins this season while also losing many head scratchers (much like last year’s squad)."
  6. Tyrese already took his official visit here. He was here for the first football game two weeks ago. If I'm not mistaken we were his first official.
  7. Coach Miles actually caught a break. What a time. What a time indeed.
  8. From what I've been told, Tanner has been a stand out in workouts this off season. Depth is never a bad thing to have. Especially when it means we get to see some homegrown Nebraska talent on the court (that happens to be 6'9 and long armed). Good for Tanner.
  9. Needs to get more physical and more consistent, especially on his jumpshot is what a little birdie told me. Also said there are flashes of what he'll bring in the future. Just needs his time to develop and adjust to the college game. Wouldn't expect much from him.
  10. This may be true, but Kansas is still no slouch
  11. Since Embery cut us from his list, I'd say this say Kyler is nearing the top of our priority list. Not ahead of Hunter, Roberts, or Xavier Johnson, but he's most likely moving up the ladder.
  12. I think they're still deciding on if they want to fill both the Video Job, and Director of Player Relations and Development. Video will be filled for sure, Ali's old job will just come down to office space and budget probably. Not unusual for schools to have multiple Graduate Assistants as well as the staff members with job titles.
  13. Actually these secret scrimmages can sometimes be kinda like a home and home deal. Since we went up to Ames last year, and the proximity is there, I wouldn't be surprised if we scrimmage the Clones again this year.
  14. One reason I could see us staying away from Shareef would be the fact that we've somewhat already cornered the market on point guards who are just above 6 feet tall by having both Glynn and Thomas Allen on the roster.. Could be wrong though. I have always been impressed with his game, but I have also always thought that his size would be hold him back from a high major.
  15. Now that.. That would be a spectacle. Him coming out of the football tunnel while "Sirius" blares. I can see it now.
  16. The around two and a half weeks between Boston College and Kansas coming to PBA are going to be well let's just say.... Interesting. But the final stretch of the season could not be much more perfect. It's not how you start, it's how you finish
  17. While in no way will I even contemplate the thought of him becoming an NBA lottery pick, Brady is the closest we will come to having a Patton-esque project. Brady is a long body who has shown plenty signs of potential, but also has had flashes of weakness on the defensive end and playing down low. You can't coach his size and athleticism. I'm sure he will spend his redshirt year going back and forth between the weight room and training table, with of course some big man work outs with Coach Mo and Coach Hunter. He's a commitment where the possible reward is too good to pass up. Welcome to Nebrasketball Mr. Heiman! The in state flavor we have all been waiting for.
  18. Well well well. Then there's this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hoping Coach Erstad gets left in Corvallis. Absolutely pathetic
  20. He'll start right away given SMU's incredible lack of post players. Good move for Akoy. Just wasn't meant to be back home Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. This draw would be the definition of ideal. Fingers crossed.
  22. At this point. I'm waiting to hear a viable plan B now that Brase has committed. Nothing really seems to be happening with Akoy, and its safe to say that we did not actually reach out to Isaiah Chandler. So I'm very curious as to what we may have up our sleeve
  23. Chatter that I have heard is that Wichita State is a likely landing spot for Mr. Chandler. They are also recruiting his high school PG Roman Behrens.
