  1. Ultimately, it's good news offensively. We have 5 guys on the floor who can put the ball on the floor and Jordy wasn't making that any easier. Defensively, I don't love it. Jordy played really well on that end last year and I don't know how we'll handle the glut of hard-rebounding bigs in the Big Ten this year.
  2. This is good to know. I didn't know what he ended up doing after James Madison, so his sudden emergence was a little weird to me. He gives a good interview though.
  3. You're probably right. I just can't explain his struggles any other way. It always seemed like he and Tai would take turns last year running PnR, now he just fades out of games.
  4. I think Glynn is having trouble adjusting to not having the ball in his hands so often. With Roby up-and-coming and Palmer emerging as a go-to-guy, he's having to move without the ball more and take spot up looks. It was to be difficult to learn to play a completely different way. That being said, he needs to figure it out. That's what upperclassmen do.
  5. Does anyone else get the feeling Cary is auditioning for the Nebraska job? He's been awfully vocal about this season. Maybe he's always like that, and I've never noticed it.
  6. I honestly think Jordy's biggest contribution this game was not picking up cheap fouls on the boards. Other than that, I'd say he's got a huge case of the yips when it comes to getting buckets. If this team plays this way the rest of the year, they'll be better than we've seen in awhile.
  7. I hope Taylor can shoot a bit, or at least finish at the rim. I think the on/off numbers were pretty damning for Benny as far as offense goes. It would be great to have a big defender who can hit threes, but his height should make him a more effective passer than Benny was. I say this all with nothing but love and respect towards Benny Parker, patron saint of hustle.
