Anyway, if that's true I think it'd be a decision Kyle regrets in the future. UCLA has two transfer bigs who played very well at the high major level last year. And have two true freshman bigs who each started 8 games last year. Three of those four players project as future draft picks. Three of them are pretty versatile but won't play the 3 next year as their 1-3 spots are full with five talented guards and wings. So they have nine players currently on the roster who have proven to be productive at the power conference level. Mick Cronin typically plays 7 or 8 guys in his rotation. 

I can picture a time when conference alignment doesn't matter in football ... and where Nebraska is back in the Big XII for other sports.

Hearing Kyle is visiting UCLA (when it was thought to be down to Wake and us).   Maybe that's on here somewhere already, but fwiw.

Kind of curious if fiddler was about to commit to Wisconsin and then heard this… or maybe MSU is making a play for both.

When Sharp was talking about his conversation with Frankie, he referenced the option of coming back to Omaha. Wouldn't be totally surprised if he was back at Omaha next year. At this point, I'd be more surprised if he commits to the Huskers than any of the other schools. I'd love it but I still suffer from the Nebrasketball ailment where I believe we can't have nice things and that things can't be easy for us.

Interesting. If Ashworth and Miller are all they have back out of that starting lineup they could be in trouble. 

I know I'm in the minority here, but they shouldn't start publishing any type of rankings until December.

After watching this game, my level of hate for U Conn is incredibly high.  To the point when they play Creighton,  I won't know who to cheer for.
 
They are really good, but Purdue was screwed in this game.  They can't get 3 point shots off, and they can't guard U Conn's guards.

Kind of looking forward to 2 old school bigs going at it tonight. 

I think they can play together. It shouldn’t be much different than Rienk playing with Allick. The nice thing about Morgan is if Rienk is on the bench he can serve as a center better than Allick could due to his size.
 
But ideally we get one of the athletic bigs (Payne, Kyle). That way we can pretty much always have two of the three on the court at once.

UConn has too much for Purdue.  I will be pulling for the Boilers but they are going to be overmatched.
