Getting the ball back into Issie a good place to start.

MSU in prime position to make a push in the 4th. We need to amp up the execution and intensity in order to finish out successfully. Seemed a little careless in the 3rd.

The execution has been good overall. Issie taking advantage of her height advantage, and a good % of threes going in. Need to protect home court.

No doubt this is who Coach is referring to. She will sign in April (I believe that is the latter signing period). The others signed in November.

Coach did say that it was for the '23 class, just to clarify since I did not note that previously. Anybody follow Twitter that maybe picked up on anything? Yeah, we'll take a commit from Britt too.

Not that anyone is interested in moral victories but hardly a bad loss when you lose by 4 at Iowa. They kept fighting and competed no matter the score and that gave them a chance in a game that was going south in the 3rd. Bring that with a bit better execution and they can win a lot of games going forward. GBR!!

Yeah, it seemed like hitting the close range shots was better than average for us in the 1st Q.

Yeah, the 1st half is more proof that we have to get better- if nothing else- at finishing at the rim. Unfortunately we are not particularly good overall at shooting the three either at this point in the season anyway. Then there's the issue of all the bad passes.

Well, the "dream" lasted about 1Q. Obviously was realistic about it before tipoff. You can't trade off a very good 1Q with one where you don't even get to double digits in it. We are who we are (of course) and we can only hope to play better and get better with who we have now. That can branch off into a bigger discussion but will leave it at that. GBR!!

We're playing like we expected them to even the series.

How the half finished out epitomizes the entire half for us. We can't seem to hang onto the ball to have the final shot. UGH!! to the entire half. No matter who you're playing, you have to have better offense on your home court than to score only 14 points in a half. I knew they would be coming for us. I simply want to see them execute better- hopefully a lot so- in the 2nd half. GBR!

This is a HHUUUUUUUGE win on the road in a tough environment!! Sounds like it was a tough, gritty effort- particularly to erase a nine point deficit and without Shelley scoring until some free throws late (I was following primarily the men's game). A needed win with in view a tough stretch of games against ranked teams and Mich St. no easy task either, as Iowa found out, Needed to at least stay in that middle pack. GBR!!

Yeah we just need to shoot free throws better. Gals get into the gym and shoot.

The effort is there but the execution not as much. OSU is just shooting the ball better, and their overall team quickness advantage is making it challenging for us. Keep fighting ladies! Though it's not looking good now. GBR!!

I'll be watching for it- particularly Sports Center to see if it makes the top 10. Should be #1.

Congrats ladies! Great effort all the way around. That's the way to respond with resolve and competitiveness after the previous outing. Hope you can replicate something close to that the rest of the season. GBR!!!

I don't know what the FG% is for NU (sounds like it is pretty high), but I'd be surprised if we duplicate it in the 2nd half. We will need to keep up the aggressiveness and hustle to finish strong and get the W. GBR!!
