Hopefully she will come back with the same quickness and speed! With injuries such as the one she had now twice you never know. But I think either way she will be one of the quickest, fastest players on the court.

Unfortunate that a player like Shelley could not perform a little better in the ncaa's so perhaps she would feel a little better as she ends her career here. I know she's a team player so ultimately she won't look at it that way. I'm sure the others returning will remember this game and this feeling and it will motivate them moving forward! GBR!!

All in all a doggone good season. We did make strides, but of course good teams do during the season. I would hope the coaching staff will think about this game as they recruit moving forward. Recruiting seems to be on a bit of an uptick for the 2024-25 season so far, but let's try to get another really good player or two out of the portal and really augment this team! GBR always and forever!!

True. But I see it effecting other areas where that is a non factor.

We look about as out of sorts on offense and we looked crisp during the B1G Tournament.

I hope so too. It ought to! We finished strong and I think deserve a 7 seed. But the committee may look at the overall losses and leave us in the 8/9 bracket. Hope not.

Really, really proud of this team and their efforts today and throughout the tourney!! Obviously needed to make a couple more plays in reg. or overtime to get this one. They are really hurt and disappointed in the locker room, but they have shown what kind of team they are and can be! I hope this shows talented young women bb players out there that NU has a fun, exciting team that is on the rise. Come play for Nebraska!!! GBR!!

I especially like the way that she has been pushing the ball up the court with control. Also that she has dribble drived in the paint and try to create shots for herself and others.

Yep. I just think the B!G should bring more clout than that. But nothing, of course, overrules money!

Are we going to the B!G Tournament championship game?? YOU BETCHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many key contributors allowed us to win this game and advance throughout. Above all, Shelley has gone beastmode, for lack of another way of putting it. I really really want Mich. to win, but nothing in me really believes that will happen! What a run this team has made! GBR!! I will say the scheduling of these games really sucks! How or why does the B!G allow the final to be scheduled for an 11am CDT start? Ridiculous!!

Couldn't have said it better and more succinctly myself. One could note certain things that they would like to see better, but nothing that you wouldn't have seen from every team that has played in the tournament thus far. NU does need to be careful with our ball handling a bit more tomorrow vs. Maryland. Both teams will be playing their third game in as many days. I am concerned that UM's overall athleticism will help them prevail as the game wears on and everyone is kind of on fumes. We shall see. We really need to focus and execute sharply to tip the scales in our favor. Let's do this gals! GBR!!

True. Wasn't taking that for granted by any means. Just was eyeballing the play of the two teams (NU v. MSU) going down the stretch. If nothing else, we have a fighter's chance of getting to 20 W's on Thur.

Not at the very end. Nissley had a good look though. In either case, whether we won or lost, MSU looks like the better team btw them and us right now. Getting that 4 seed would have been really good though.

Giving them a dose of their own medicine with the give and go and movement attacking the basket. Most importantly, finishing and scoring.

Dare I say we look like a team that has had an eight day layoff. Didn't like that when I saw it on the schedule. yeah we needed time to heal up, but I think being in a flow (when games are played) is beneficial.

I think that is probably accurate, so we need to make it harder on both ends, esp. on D.

Needless to say, UI has had too many easy ways to score. When NU does have an open look, a lot have been in and out. Going to have to figure out something at the half as their quickness, as I was afraid of, has been an advantage beating us off the dribble and getting to spots for open looks. GBR!

Indeed, the D is pretty much a skeleton right now. Too many give and go's for easy layups.

Seems possible to me if we win on Sun. then get to the semis of the B1G tourney.
